It is with profound sadness that the Starbird family announces the passing of their matriarch, Donna Starbird. Surrounded by friends and family, she left us peacefully on Sunday, September 5th.
The family appreciates some privacy at this time, but we’ll announce plans to celebrate the beautiful life of Donna in the near future.
It is with great sorrow that I report we have lost one of our honorary board members Jerry Rehn he was a true friend and a real advocate of the museum and the custom world. ❤️. I guess God needed him more than us, we will surely miss him
We are opening again this year for the 25th season. Come see Darryl's latest creation plus cars from other famous builders.
We will be closing for the season around Thanksgiving so come by and see us or call for an appointment after we close for the season and if available we will open for you.
If you are a member of NSRA you receive their magazine "Street Scene" this months magazine has a really great article about the Tulsa show with Winner of the Fine Nine "Go for the Gold" and the 21st Induction Ceremony of the well deserving Inductees for 2017. Darryl Hollenbeck, Dennis McPhail, Gary Meyers, Cliff Starbird, Alan Mayes and Jack Chisenhall. If your are not a member borrow one from a friend or maybe you should join NSRA, ya think? Check it out!
Sad day in the Kustom World one of our Inductees has gone on to a better place. Bill Hines was inducted into the National Rod and custom Car Hall of Fame in 1997 and never missed an Induction Ceremony after that. He was a devout supporter of the museum and we will surely miss him. He couldn't hear me or understand me too well but would call and talk to Darryl quite often. He was a lovely kind man and we will miss his participation in our Induction Ceremonies. Donna Starbird
