Adrian Jr. Majorettes
The Adrian Jr. Majorettes' mission is to provide free baton twirling and pom dance classes to local kids! We provide free baton and pom dance lessons!
Coaches Kristina Kidney, Julie Martin, Kim Kopke, Jordan Bettencourt, Lainey Caldwell, and Lily Robinson This is a baton twirling and pom dance program that has a great reputation in Adrian and the surrounding communities. Our mission is to provide quality lessons to all and break down the financial barriers. Only costs are a matching t-shirt and to purchase your own baton.
Today is our first real practice, yaaay!! 🎉
Please see Coach Kris under the pavilion if your student still needs a baton or to order a group T-shirt. Batons are $35 and T-shirts are $10. Please bring cash.
Students will attend classes out on the front lawn of the church with coaches Jordan, Kim, Lainey, and Lily for baton and coaches Julie, Lainey, and Kim for pom-pom.
Bathrooms located inside church to the left of the office. Please do not let children linger inside the church and please keep eyes on extra kids who are not in class.
Parents of students under 11 years old must stay at practice, thank you! If your student is over 11 please use discretion if you are dropping them off, as we do still prefer parents stay and watch. We encourage all parents/family to bring chairs or a blanket to stay and relax!

Hi everyone! Each summer Adrian First United Methodist Church offers a free Vacation Bible School program. We wanted to share this with you all in case your kiddos are interested in attending! The church supports our baton and pom dance program in several ways and we are so thankful! Visit the Adrian First United Methodist Church page or the website www.adrianfumc.org
🌧️🌧️ CLASSES CANCELED TONIGHT 🌧️🌧️
But! If your student needs a new baton this year, Coaches Kris and Julie will be under the pavilion at the church fitting batons from 5-6pm. This will help give us a head start for classes next week if your kiddo needs a baton and you can still swing by 😊
Edit to add: I will still do baton/shirt orders on the 15th and if still needed on the 22nd as well
Heads up, there is a chance of rain tonight. Please watch our page for all weather related cancellations or rescheduling
Thank you! I will be watching the radar 🤞🌦️
First practice is tonight! Please bring cash and see Coach Kris under the pavilion first thing if you need a baton ($35) or shirt ($10)!
Please note:
The Lenawee County Fair Bandshell performance is actually on Saturday, August 1st at 1pm.
My apologies, I put the wrong date on the information sheet! I’ll get that edited soon
Hello everyone! This coming Monday, June 8th, is our first practice!! 💙
Here's a rundown of how our first practice should go on Monday:
Baton students, if you need a new baton please line up to see Coach Kris under the pavilion at the beginning of practice to be measured. I have pre-ordered a lot of batons, so I should have many on hand. If I do not have your size at the first practice, I will get it ordered and have it the next week.
Payment is due on Monday in person - Baton $35, t-shirt $10, please bring cash!
Any student that needs to order a team shirt, please also see Coach Kris under the pavilion (all students need a shirt for performances).
Once you have your baton and/or shirt order taken care of, you will join our coaches for a big introduction lesson in the lawn area in front of the church. Coaches Kim, Jordan, Lainey, and Lily will be leading class 😊
There will be a snack offered between classes.
Please check the information sheets pinned at the top of the page for class times.
Pom classes are in the 6pm hour. Families do not need to purchase poms, and a group t-shirt for performances is all that is needed.
Families feel free to bring blankets and lawn chairs! Reminder that there needs to be an adult present for students during practices. Please also keep an eye on siblings playing. There are lots of kids and safety is a priority!
There are bathrooms and a drinking fountain inside the church. Go inside the open door, turn left at the office and the bathrooms and drinking fountain are there on the right. Please do not let kids linger inside the church.
Thank you and let us know if you have any questions!
