We’re pleased to welcome Ashley Nadeau to Highmark Residential as Regional Manager for the Carolinas region.

Ashley joins Highmark Residential with 17 years of multifamily housing experience, bringing a strong background in property management, regional operations, and team leadership. Known for her hands-on leadership style and operational expertise, Ashley is passionate about building high-performing teams and supporting communities with consistency and care.

Her role contributes directly to property management ex*****on, team development, and resident experience across our apartment communities. Ashley’s focus on driving results, cultivating strong team cultures, and supporting onsite teams will play an important role in maintaining performance across the Highmark Residential portfolio.

Outside of work, Ashley is a proud mom to 9-year-old twin boys and pet mom to her mini Goldendoodle, Bella, Bernedoodle, Gracie, and cat, Pedro. Originally from Ohio, with family in Boston, Ashley is also a big sports fan and proudly cheers on the New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox, and Ohio State Buckeyes. She also enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Please join us in celebrating Amanda Burkham, Controller/Audit Manager, on an incredible 20 years with Highmark Residential.

Amanda joined the company after graduating from college, beginning a career that has grown alongside Highmark Residential for two decades. Over the years, she has supported many important transitions, including the financial reporting requirements during the company’s four years on the Toronto Stock Exchange.

Amanda has continued to play an important role in supporting accounting operations, multiple audit teams, and the day-to-day financial work that helps support the company’s continued growth. Her experience, consistency, and steady commitment have made a lasting impact on the teams and partners she supports across the organization.

Outside of work, Amanda enjoys traveling and exploring new countries, attending concerts, gardening, and tackling home improvement projects.

Highmark Residential is pleased to welcome Manuel Rodriguez as our new Payroll Specialist.

Manuel brings valuable experience in high-volume timekeeping processing, supporting more than 700 employees with a strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and timely ex*****on.

Known for being approachable, patient, and down to earth, Manuel enjoys connecting with associates and providing support wherever needed. He brings a true team-player mindset, a great sense of humor, and a genuine eagerness to continue expanding his payroll knowledge and skill set.

Angie’s multifamily career began as a part-time leasing associate while she was in college, and her journey has grown into a regional leadership role supporting apartment communities, onsite teams, and residents across the South Atlantic portfolio.

Her path reflects the kind of growth, dedication, and hands-on property management experience that strengthens our teams and communities. From her early days in leasing to her role today as Regional Manager, Angie brings a steady, people-focused approach to leadership and a strong understanding of what it takes to help communities perform well.

Outside of work, Angie and her husband stay busy with their two teenage boys and their full sports schedules. When they are not running from one game to the next, they enjoy spending time together at home.

Michelle brings more than 20 years of experience to our team, with a career that began right here in Annapolis, Maryland. Because she started as a leasing associate, she has a natural, hands-on understanding of what it takes to make a community thrive. She truly believes that home is more than just a floor plan - it’s about the people and the experiences that happen there every day.

Most recently serving as VP of Marketing at Donaldson, Michelle is known for her collaborative spirit and her dedication to supporting onsite teams. Her passion for enhancing the resident experience and her "people-first" perspective make her a wonderful addition to our Highmark family.

We are so proud of our North Florida team for their recent day of service at Edward Medard Conservation Park. Our associates rolled up their sleeves to beautify the park facilities and worked together to remove over 400 pounds of invasive weeds to help the local ecosystem thrive. 🌿

This effort is the heart of Highmark Gives. For us, outreach isn't just a corporate initiative; it’s a personal commitment to being good neighbors and stewards of the land we share. We’re pleased to welcome Lana Lewis to Highmark Residential as our newest Operations Specialist serving the Central Texas region.

Lana brings more than a decade of multifamily and association management experience, with a strong background in operations, organizational leadership, and performance optimization across varying real estate markets.

Originally from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Lana began her career as a Realtor and is an active member of the National Association of REALTORS®. After relocating to Texas, she continued building on that real estate foundation through roles with industry leaders including Greystar Real Estate Partners, FirstService Residential, and Associa, where she most recently served as a Senior Association Manager supporting communities across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.

In her role at Highmark Residential, Lana will partner closely with leadership and onsite teams to support platform implementations, develop rollout plans, and help execute upcoming initiatives that strengthen operations across our Central Texas apartment communities.

We’re pleased to welcome Shemica Washington to Highmark Residential as a Property Support Admin.

Shemica joins Highmark Residential with five years of multifamily experience, beginning as a leasing agent in Riverdale, Georgia and most recently serving as an Assistant Property Manager. Her background includes resident relations, leasing processes, and operational support that improves efficiency and consistency across teams.

Her role contributes directly to property management ex*****on, supporting alignment across teams and enhancing the resident experience across our apartment communities. This level of operational support plays a key role in maintaining performance across the Highmark Residential portfolio.

Fun fact: Shemica’s introduction to multifamily started early, helping her dad, a maintenance director, pass out notices. A 4-piece nugget kids meal was all the motivation she needed.
