This has truly been a fantastic World Cup. All the drama, the goals, the Cinderella stories and all the unexpected heroes that have lit up the hearts around the globe. I have been so blessed to see the GOAT play 3 matches in June. This is his final tango, and he did at 39 while breaking records and showing up when we have needed him most. We are in the semis, a huge accomplishment as defending world champions. No matter what happens on Wednesday, we are proud and grateful for everything this Sport has given us.

The first anniversary of a loved one’s passing is always the hardest. This anniversary is particularly painful in such profound ways. Last year, on July Fourth, 139 beautiful souls, both young and old, lost their lives in the most unthinkable way. Among them, 25 young girls, and their 2 teen counselors at Camp Mystic, collectively now known as Heavens27. The lives of their parents, their siblings and their families have been marked forever. Yet, like the fireworks we see in the sky, Heavens27 have shown us over and over again that they continue to light up lives of so many. That they are still present and joyful, reminding us that even in sadness and sorrow, love always will prevail. 💜

Looks like I won something at auction yesterday. 🎸 A signed guitar from one of my favorite bands - Grouplove. I acquired the guitar exactly 2 years to the day it was signed at the Wildflower Arts and Music Festival in 2024. I was there then. I was there yesterday. You could say that I’m a bit tongue-tied.
