WE HAVE JAM! Woot Woot!

Update on jam: ended up with 16 1/2 pints and 6 1/4 pints. Think I got it this time! We'll know in about 12 hours, fingers crossed 🤞Side note: I think the sweetest sound right now is a 'ping'

Well shoot! Checked batch 2 and 3 and they did not set all the way. I had this happen last year to an experiment with cherry jam and did some research. You can carefully pop your tops and 'recook' your jam until it does set. Soooo, jars are washed and sterilizing. And jam is back on the stove top. It's a bummer when you think you did everything 'right ' but I think in this case it may have worked out. Taste tested and jam was a bit tart.

Well, Grape jam is processed and cooling 😎 28 1/2 pints and 20 1/4 pints! Edit: Sidenote, that was about 32 lbs pre cooked weight

Got the last appliance for the outdoor kitchen. Will be able to pressure can, water bath and sterilize outside without running up the electric bill. Thank you Barefoot.mimosas for the recommendation.
