Another group of gloves came through the Laced Up shop for break-ins, cleaning, conditioning, and shaping. Every glove is broken-in to fit the player’s position, style, and preferences.

This Nokona AmericanKIP A-3250 came in for some much-needed maintenance and left looking much better than when it arrived.

The embroidered “A” was beginning to separate from the glove. A quick repair now saved the owner from a much larger issue down the road.

Bringing a classic back to life never gets old. This Wilson A2000 1787 11.75” came in with plenty of miles on it, but still had way too much life left to hang it up.

These were worn, broken down, and ready for a second life—and now they’re back to being game-ready with that clean, classic look.

Not every glove has a story like these… but every glove deserves to be brought back the right way.

This 11.5" Wilson A2000 1786 came to Laced Up after a previous “relace” that honestly missed the mark.

To the untrained eye, the before might look "good enough," but when glove work is your passion, the details matter. This one had laces that ran incorrectly, knots tied incorrectly, inconsistent knot direction, lace ends left laughably too long, zero pocket adhesive, and it hadn’t even been properly cleaned or conditioned.

At Laced Up, every lace is ran the right way, every knot is tied correctly, every knot faces the same uniform direction, and every lace is cut to the exact proper length. The glove was fully cleaned and conditioned with Sarna Sports, received new pocket adhesive, and was relaced with premium black lace from Flatbill Sports.

When baseball and gloves are truly your passion, you treat every glove like it’s your own. The last relace was clearly done by someone who says "good enough" way too often. 🤣
