✉️💌 Mailing Your Invitations: What You Need to Know! 💌✉️

Sending out invitations? Remember, the weight and bulk of your invitations can affect postage costs. Here’s a quick guide to keep your mailing on track:

Heavier Paper: Using thicker cardstock or layered designs? They look stunning but add weight, potentially increasing postage.

Accessories & Embellishments: Ribbons, wax seals, envelope liners, and additional inserts add elegance and charm. However, they also add bulk and weight, which generally require extra postage.

Envelope Considerations: Bulky or non-standard envelopes might need extra care in sorting and processing, leading to needing more postage.

Adding Extra Postage:

Non-Machinable Stamps: If your envelope is too thick or has embellishments that prevent it from being machine processed, you may need a non-machinable surcharge, which requires a special stamp.

Regular Stamps: If non-machinable stamps aren’t your vibe, you can use two Forever Stamps. When doing this, it’s best to hand deliver your invitations to the post office and ask them to hand cancel the envelopes.

💡 Tip: Before mailing, take a fully assembled invitation to the post office to check the weight and dimensions. This ensures you add the correct postage and avoid delays or returned invitations.
