Timmy D Productions had a wonderful summer with a number of events (photos to come)...but for now, the focus is on gearing up for a big party tomorrow with Bryan & Terra as they get married :). Looking forward to providing sound for the ceremony, DJ & dance music for the reception, and photo booth services too!

After a fairly quiet stretch the past few months (which had its positives, especially from a rest & recharging standpoint), TDP was grateful to be back in the swing of things with four weddings across the Tri-State Area (2 PA, 1 NJ, 1 DE) over the last couple of weeks.

Rebecca & Zachary (Fri 4/30), Kim & Rob (Sat 5/1), Abby & Connor (Sun 5/2), and Jill & Tom (Sun 5/9) were all great couples to work with, each with their own musical tastes and vision for their respective receptions. The opportunity to work closely together to customize each couple's celebration is a great blessing and one of the main reasons I still enjoy DJing and providing related services like photo booth & lights after 30+ years.

(P.S. I tried resizing pics etc so the four couples' photos would display evenly, but no matter how I tried it was a one-and-three display 😬 (!)🙃)

My most recent post to this page was exactly 20 months ago.

While not quite as long as the three years W***y Wonka “went silent” by closing his factory doors to prevent the stealing of his secrets (including by rival Arthur Slugworth), it has indeed been a long time.

The main reason for the gap remains the same as described a couple posts back (dated February 23, 2019)—namely, the “other” main thing I’ve done the past 30+ years: radio.

Since June 2018, I’ve been serving as program director of two stations (AM 560 WFIL & AM 990 WNTP) and hosting an afternoon program (“The Tim DeMoss Show”) 4pm-5pm each weekday. Guests in the past year or two have included Mike Schmidt (Philadelphia Phillies 1980 World Series Champ & Hall of Fame 3B), singer/songwriter Don McLean (including American Pie), Dr. Alveda King (MLK Jr’s niece), Mike Rowe (Dirty Jobs), Christie Pearce-Rampone (3-time Olympic gold medalist & 2x World Cup Champion), and actor John Rhys-Davies (Raiders Of The Lost Ark, Lord Of The Rings). Podcasts are available under the “Tim DeMoss Show” at wfil.com should you like to give any of them a listen ☺.

That said, the DJ work has continued along as well—weddings, parties (including many Sweet 16s), corporate events, and more. 2019 was strong all the way through. 2020 started off strong, was put “on hold” for a few months, then resumed to a degree. Posted here are a few photos (some slightly blurry!) from just before the most recent post and 2020.

Entering 2021, the calendar is comprised of a number of postponed 2020 events plus brand new ones being added fairly regularly as well. Thankful to have weathered a difficult stretch and excited to see things build up again as 2021 unfolds. Happy to provide DJ, photo booth, and lighting services should you have the need. Gearing up to provide dance music for the graduates of Commonwealth Connections Academy (PA's largest cyberschool) & their families at Drexelbrook tonight. Ceremony starts at 730pm, followed by Drexelbrook's amazing staff flipping the room in minutes to serve dinner, followed by the dance party 🎛🎤🎧🎶!

The first year there were about 10 graduates and 75 people in the room. This year, several hundred grads & a crowd of almost 1000. Grateful to have worked with CCA all these years! ☺

Good morning & a very belated Happy New Year :).

For the past 30+ years, yours truly (Tim DeMoss) has worked both in radio and mobile DJing concurrently. I've loved doing both. And I continue to plan doing both for the foreseeable future.

What you may not know (although the lack of posting the past 7-8 months may give a general hint) is that at the end of June 2018, I took a full-time position as Brand Manager & Program Director of two Philadelphia radio stations (AM 560 WFIL & 990 WNTP). Part of my responsibilities also include hosting an afternoon talk show from 4pm-5pm on WFIL. This has been a great privilege on many levels, and I invite you to tune in (AM 560 WFIL / www.wfil.com).

I've still been DJing & providing photo booth/lights these past months, but I simply have not had the "bandwidth" to maintain this FB page with photos/videos from these events due to my radio responsibilities. I do hope to create a post this week to encapsulate the second half of 2018 as well as get back in the swing of things as the 2019 calendar picks up again.

As summer winds down and we head into fall, TDP wishes to thank those we had the pleasure of working with the past few months.

From May through August, we’re grateful to have provided DJ / emcee / photo booth and/or lighting services for 14 weddings and 11 parties & events—birthday, anniversary, graduation, church, family reunion, gymnastics banquet, and more. Hoping to post some photos soon.

In the meantime, here’s one that captures much of what TDP is about—that “clients” are really viewed as friends, both during the initial season of working together and down the road too.

At Daniel & Becky’s wedding in May 2018, three additional couples were in attendance whose weddings TDP had DJ’d the past 18 years. L-to-R: Eric & Stephanie (2008), Josh & Becky (2000), and Adam & Monique (2017). Truly a highlight among many this summer ☺.

TDP is thankful for the opportunity to provide DJ services (as well as special effects lighting & uplighting) for Joe & Ruri's wedding this coming weekend. Looking forward to celebrating with you and your guests!

TDP is excited to provide DJ, photo booth, and lighting services for multiple weddings and parties in May (and throughout the summer)…but first, we thought it appropriate to quickly recap the “Party Potpourri” that 2018 has been thus far. Events have included a partnership with the Phillies, two proms (including Tim Tebow’s “A Night To Shine” event), three surprise birthday parties ( #50, #70, and #90!), a college party, a trivia night, a wedding, and even a party to celebrate the completion of a counseling degree :).

TDP is very much looking forward to helping Calvin & Hannah celebrate their wedding day with family & friends next month. DJ/sound system/emceeing, as well as photo booth and lighting services, will all be provided. Thank you Calvin & Hannah for the opportunity to serve you in this way :).
