If you’re starting this week feeling behind, overwhelmed, or already tired… you’re not the only one.
A lot of people walk into Monday thinking they need to “do better” this week.
But growth rarely looks like a perfect reset.
Sometimes progress looks like:
• showing up even when you’re exhausted
• asking for help instead of pushing through
• taking breaks without guilt
• letting go of unrealistic expectations
You don’t have to do this week perfectly.
Just keep moving forward in ways that feel possible.
🌱 Save this as a reminder for the week.

Just a reminder that if someone asks you “when are you due?” … you don’t owe them an answer.
If someone starts to tell you their traumatic birth story, you’re allowed to say, “actually, I’m only focusing on positive birth stories right now, so I’d rather not hear about that right now!”
If someone reaches out to touch your belly, you can say “please do not touch me.”
If your doctor says “you need an ultrasound,” you can say “no thanks.”
If your provider says “let’s get you on the schedule for an induction next week - baby is looking big.” You can say “no, I’m comfortable waiting for baby to come when he/she is ready.”
YOU are the boss. Don’t let other people be your pregnancy boss.

If you’re tired, overextended, or just off — same.
You’re adjusting, not failing. 🌙

Therapist betrayal list — because sometimes the hardest parts of this work aren’t in the textbooks.
The tiny heartbreaks behind holding space for others: systemic gaps, tough boundaries, and the ache of caring deeply.
Which one hits hardest for you this week? 👀

In therapy and in life, it’s often the small things that create the biggest shifts.
I found this little gem at Dollar Tree — Better Than Yesterday, a deck with 365 small, doable challenges to make each day just a little brighter.
💛 Today’s card: “Find a one-sentence mantra that speaks to you and repeat it throughout your day.”
What would your mantra be today?

Why my schedule was short last week—worth every second. 💛
As a therapist, I talk a lot about safety, connection, and regulation. Last week, I got to live that work in a whole new way—as a counselor at Camp Quest, an overnight camp for kids experiencing housing insecurity, through .
For 3 days, we created space for joy, silliness, and belonging. We swam, danced, did goat yoga 🐐, and let kids just be kids. Watching them laugh, trust, and open up was pure magic—and a powerful reminder of why this work matters.
