In Uganda news today. Accountability is the message here and we are in support.
The speaker of parliament Rebecca Kadaga has tasked Government explain how it has spent the funds that were availed by the European Union to support COVID19 related activities.
In April this year the European Union announced a grant of 120 billion shillings to help Uganda address both health emergencies caused by the covid19 pandemic and its longer term socio- economic impacts.
The fund was extended to Uganda with a joint priority to save lives, heal the sick, protect the vulnerable, and strengthen research, support health systems and economies.
The request by Kadaga followed a commitment made by government Chief whip Ruth Nankabirwa about a possible credit facility which will bail out Ugandans affected by the Covid19 lockdown

We are a social enterprise group dedicated to inspiring, empowering and motivating communities to become responsible and productive force of development agents to their communities. Our team on ground in Gulu City, Uganda met with two amazing enthusiastic entreprenuers Laucho Dee and Sha Ron with whom we are in partnership, training women and youths on business skills and mentorship. Trainings will soon resume following the easing of the lockdown. One of the skills is making these amazing handmade Crochet backpacks. More of these products will be available on all our online plateforms and soon to open store/shop in Gulu City.
