Pumps operate via many energy sources, including manual operation, electricity, engines, or wind power,
Mechanical pumps serve in a wide range of applications such as pumping water from wells, aquarium filtering, pond filtering and aeration, in the car industry for water-cooling and fuel injection, in the energy industry for pumping oil and natural gas or for operating cooling towers. In the medical industry, pumps are used for biochemical processes in developing and manufacturing medicine, and as artificial replacements for body parts, in particular the artificial heart and pe**le prosthesis.

In this video i have made is all about showing you how you can construct of a simple pump using a syringe.
It consist of a cylinder with a reciprocating plunger. The suction and discharge valves are mounted in the head of the cylinder. In the suction stroke the plunger retracts and the suction valves open causing suction of fluid (water) into the cylinder. In the forward stroke the plunger pushes the liquid out of the discharge valve.

A SIMPLE AUTOMATIC WATER TAP SYSTEM. Nowadays, most people want a life that modern life requires that they are easy, fast and environmentally friendly. As we know the use of sinks at this time is still using the old system of using mechanical taps controlled by humans. As we can see today many public toilets using a box to put the liquid soap which they need a space to put the equipment. Users also often face the problem where it is easily damaged by the negligence of other users. However, we know the use of these devices usually require a space to stand. Usually, most of the water tap in the market usually use old system where it using manually control to turn on or turn off the system. When the users using that system they must use their hand to open or close the water tap and the water tap valve easy to damage because when the users always turn strongly to open or close the tap. This system is not efficient because water wastage easy to occur because at the time between to open the tap and wash their hand the water has already been wasted. It same when we want to close it and if we forgot to close the water tap it will make waste become more critical. As we can see usage of sink only focus on one usage it is all about water. Looking at the development of technology today usage of sink should notbe focused on water use only because user needs something their use can give many benefit when they use it. Another disadvantages for the system is when users wash their hands, their hands not very clean because they still have a direct contact to the messy water tap where it expose to the bacteria.Technically it can be defined as,Automatic Tap System is a faucet equipped with a motion detector and mechanism that opens its valve to allow water to flow in response to the presence of a hand or hands in close proximity. The faucet closes its valveagain after a few seconds or when it no longer detects the presence of hands.This system is composed of majorly infrared Sensor which is an Infrared motion detector which detects the obstacle when user keeps his hands under the tap. As it emits continuous radiations so when user keep his hands because of obstacle within its range sensor will receive the signals back.It will send the then to other electronics for the further processing since they are the brain to this system because they control all the operations.The electronics control the selonoid valve ( wire coilwound on the plastic green tube ) which is nothing but the automatic switch, when user put his hands under the tap then sensor will sense the obstacle asdiscussed earlier which will send signal to controllerand controller after processing will send signal to the solenoid valve to get on which will start the flow of water. And when user will move hands away from the tap the same as above procedure will takes place only at this time controller will send the signal to turn off the valve which will stop the flow of the water.The tap ( green tube )and Water Source ( green bottle ) will be working as a Inlet to get the water from water source and as a Outlet to open the flow of water for the user.This setup has been made in a simple way to demonstrate it's working from #_ first_ principles.It can be used in home wash tabs ( sinks ), domestic and community water taps, restaurants hand wash taps, shower tap controllers etc.soon I'll upload a video showing how cool it is.



In this post we will learn how to generate electricity while walking. This electricity can be used for charging a cellphone battery, lighting homes and streets etc.
Our feet is an excellent example of a simple machine which can be compared to a lever. Each time we move to take a step forward we effortlessly lift our entire body on our toes and then restore it back on the ground, we continue to do this as long as we walk, with absolutely no trouble at all. Even though a walking action may appear too easy for us, our feet actually does a significant amount of work by lifting around 60 kg (average) of the ground and then bringing it back to the ground, which constitutes an upward and a downward force that may equal to the 60kg gravitational equivalent. In both the occasions massive amounts of forces are exchanged, and we are presently interested in tapping this force for generate free electricity while walking action is being carried out. The device that's shown in the photos is a prototype to bring out the mechanism to generate electricity when some one walking steps onto it when installedon street or compound.It contains six motors (yellow ) which act as electricgenerators that are cranked by the weight of the person, making them rotate. The generated energy is boosted by some electronics, and is received and stored in the rechargeable batteries which are placed in the battery pack on the sides as shown.This idea can be extended further and incorporated below road humps to generate more electricity fromthe Weight of the car.Also it can be made small to fit into shoes such that one can be able to charge a phone while walking, running etc.This kind of green energy harvesting is more reliable than the solar panel as it can generate electricity whether day or night and it's good for places such as schools, towns, churches, arcades etc but I hope you are not sued for stealing energy from people due to their weight.



Today I am going to talk about a very useful project that I had taken up. It is called the Water Level Indicator. Nowadays everybody has overhead tank at their homes. But everyone who has a water tank above knows the kind of problems that they face. Firstly there is no system to track the water in the tank. Then there come a secondary problem that is when their water pump is started they have no idea when it gets filled up and sometimes there are situation where the pump keeps on pumping water to the tank and the water starts spilling out from the tank. There is wastage of energy as well as wastage of water.

The house where I live in has an overhead tank which is about 30 feet from the ground level. I was getting bored going up the rooftop to check whether the tank has filled or the water level was below to start the pump. I had to do this again and again. Then I sought for a solution. I always used to think of the possibilities of how can this problem be tackled in an electronic way being an #_Expert_designer in this field. I found one and wanted to put whatever I have done out here so that it may be helpful to someone who has a overhead water tank at their homes.

Basically the unit is made up of four wires acting as a sensor switches that are inserted into the water tank to detect the water level ie low level, half level and full level. What happens is when you turn on your water pump, the water starts to get pumped from your underground reservoir or from your underground water supply from the pipes to your water tank. In the tank there are these four wires (sensors), Just think them as a switch, to which our circuit is connected. So the water starts to get filled in the tank and when the water level in the tank starts to rise up, what happens is that the sensors that is installed in the tank starts to get activated one by one indicating the water level in the tank ie low, half and full respectively. At every level, the a different colour light emitting diode turns on to indicate the water level reached ie blue for full level , green for half level and red for low level.
Then interesting part on this project is that when using the water from the tank and the water level reaches low level before going empty, it will activate an alarm to call for the tank to be filled.

The photos shown are those of a prototype that was made for study purpose. it works perfect to demonstrate the principle.

In many cases, the hearing impaired can be helped by a device that makes sound louder: a hearing aid. Hearing aids are, in the most general sense, electronic amplifiers that boost sound level to the point where people who are hard of hearing can understand what's being said.It's estimated that about half of all people suffering hearing disorders can gain at least some relief through the use of a hearing aid.

The hearing aid is an instrument that amplifies sounds, particularly speech, for people with hearing impairments. It may be worn comfortably behind the ear, in the outer ear, within the ear canal, in the frames of eyeglasses, or against the bodyor in the clothing. The main elements of the aid are a microphone, an electronic amplifier to make the sound louder, an earphone or receiver, and an ear mold or plastic shell that serves to couple acoustic energy (sound) from the earphone to the eardrum either directly orthrough plastic tubes. The sound is converted to an electrical signal, amplified, then reconverted to acoustic energy in the inner ear. A battery, the typical power source, can also be contained in the shell.The microphone and earphone together form a transducer and determine the performance of the aid over a range of frequencies. The adjustment of tone (low and high frequencies) and gain (volume) can be either manual or automatic so thatthe user can hear enhanced sounds within a comfortable tolerance level.

The photos show some details of a hearing aid that has been made locally. The system has got the charging unit to ensure that the battery (blue) is charged on board. it has too the control panel on the side for volume adjustment and also LED indicators to indicate charging (green) on (blue) and stand by mode (red); on switch, standby switch . the whole system is built around an old head phone frame to fit properly on the head. see other photos......

Have you ever wanted to make your own radio station at home or in your room to broadcast within your compound and neighborhood?
Here is it for the people around your home to listen to your voice calling their names over their radio sets. This FM transmitter circuit uses four radio frequency stages: a VHF oscillator, a preamplifier, a driver and a power amplifier.

A condenser microphone is connected at the input of the oscillator. When you speak near the microphone, frequency-modulated signals are obtained at the collector of oscillator transistor. The FM signals are amplified by the VHF preamplifier and driver stage. The preamplifier is a tuned class-A RF amplifier and the driver is a class-C amplifier. Signals are finally fed to the class-C RF power amplifier, which delivers RF power to a 50-ohm horizontal dipole or ground plane antenna.The antenna converts these signals into electromagnetic waves that are picked up by the a radio receiver to reproduce the voice of someone speaking on the mic at the transmitter end.

This project circuit is useful in broadcasting sound tousers at a distant say music from your TV or woofer to friends in other rooms, wireless microphone system, spy on what your friends are talking about you in your absence as it can pick up any sound from the place. It can be used as a monitor for your sleeping baby as you are in the garden or kitchen busy......and many more....
