Our Story

Kampala Diplomatic School, is a leading international Boarding and Day school for children aged 4 to 18. years old. KDS is located on the beautiful Naguru hill, in Kampala, the capital city of Uganda. We offer the (CIE) Cambridge International British Curriculum, state of the art facilities and interactive online learning, to prepare our children for a ‘future of hope’.

Small Classes

We maintain a ratio of one teacher to twelve students (1:12), as a result our classrooms remain a supportive, engaging and friendly environment, that is highly conducive to effective learning.

Tuition Fees

KDS aims to make the highest quality international education, affordable to all children in the East African Region.

ICT

Children at KDS start learning how to code from age 7, through practical projects that enable them to create their own websites, games, animations and media stories. ICT is also integrated into all the learning at KDS. Each student receives a PC Tablet, and this makes all their lessons highly interactive, in addition the ICT Lab is open to children of all ages at KDS.

Kampala Diplomatic International School has experienced teachers all from all around the world including Uganda, United Kingdom, USA, Germany, and China. Our teachers are also fully endorsed by Cambridge as senior-examiners for the CIE IGCSE programme.

Extracurricular Activities

At KDS, learning is not limited to the classroom, extracurricular activities are considered to be an important element of our school, to enhance the personal and physical development of our students, alongside their academic development. This holistic approach to learning puts the right amount of emphasis on Art, Dance, Music, Sports, Swimming, Theatre, Cooking, Entrepreneurship, and Drama. Over the past 25+ years, our schools (Khartoum Diplomatic School and Kampala Diplomatic School), have prepared students who joined the best universities worldwide including the University of Oxford, University of Bristol, University College London and Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
