Like any other manufacturer or processor, Diners Group Ltd needs infrastructure (reliable power and water supply and accessibility [good roads] to the processing plant and resources like land to set up processing plants and storage facilities.
Our mission was to ascertain the possibility of Diners Group Ltd acquiring 2 Acres of Land for its manufacturing and/or processing business arm to increase capacity.
We had an engagement with Kyle Feng (Administrative Manager) @ Sino-Uganda Mbale Industrial Park and One Simon, Assistant to Kyle Feng.
To our disappointment, we were told that an acre of land in the park would go for USD 80,000 minimum, a percent increment in Thousands than the rates Uganda Investment Authority leases Land in Industrial Parks.
Our Next step is to meet the Chairman of Sino-Uganda Mbale Industrial Park for further engagement.
