Y O U T H P L U S Uganda is a youth-led network that works on empowering youth and promoting their interests in the development agenda. We empower youth to influence, inform and act the decisions that affect their lives. We support young people to get involved in their communities, national and global development processes.

Our idea SENGA 2.0 aiming at disrupting the traditional Senga approach to improve sexual and Reproductive health knowledge, attitudes and practices emerged winner and beneficiary of the grant from IDEA Initiative Africa led by the Planned Parenthood Global and Nailab Kenya.
Green jobs are central to sustainable development and can respond to challenges such as environmental protection, economic development and social inclusion.
In 2023, we will be launching a signature project, JOBFUTURES a collaborative project that will provide an opportunity to key stakeholders to address the youth employment challenge in Uganda while simultaneously preserving biodiversity and increasing climate resilience.
JOBFUTURES will accelerate increased skills provision for youth, link them to green jobs, support green startups to promote social, economic and climate justice in Uganda.
In Uganda, communities and the climate thrive on Shea tree conservation - climatetracker Shea trees act as a carbon sink, playing an integral role in maintaining biodiversity, and supporting the livelihoods of communities.
