During his regular school visits, our Vice Chancellor, Dr. Jeremiah Pitts, along with our Public Relations Manager, Mr. Mulanzi, and University Council member, Pastor Semwaga, engaged with students and recent graduates in Kasawo, Nakifuma, Mukono District.
Their insightful discussions undoubtedly left a lasting impact on the eager minds and hearts of the young learners, inspiring them to strive for academic excellence and personal growth.
Such initiatives not only strengthen the bond between the university and the local community but also serve as a source of motivation and encouragement for the future leaders of tomorrow.

Half Work Day is a special event at .uganda where faculty, staff, and students come together to engage in various cleaning activities across the campus. Here is a brief overview of today’s event and how it unfolded.

Our Head of the Education Department, Prof. Sean Kinsella, recently visited our graduates in Lira over the weekend. He delivered a sermon at three different churches where our alumni are actively involved and later spent quality time with them in Lira City, as captured in the accompanying picture.
At ABU, we firmly believe that the success of our alumni is a testament to the value of the training they received across all our programs.

The VC, Dr. Jeremiah Pitts, visited Vision for Africa International, where he met the founder, Mama L. Prean-Bruni, for a constructive dialogue on how to raise more servant leaders for Christ in Africa. We have graduated several students from VFA, and we currently have more undergoing training here at our campus. The two institutions have pledged to continue working together for the Kingdom’s sake.

Today, our Vice Chancellor, Dr. Jeremiah Pitts, hosted at our campus a group from Empower One, which provides theological education in Northern Uganda through the North East Africa Theological Seminary (NEATS) at the certificate and diploma levels. The meeting was successful, and we are grateful for the partnership between the two institutions.

African Bible University is announcing a 1 week Course in The Westminster Standards taught by Timothy Mulder
Timothy Mulder, MBA, M.Div., has served the church for over 35 years. He is married to Michelle, and they have five children and five grandchildren. Timothy has taught children, youth, and adults in the church setting for most of his life.
He is the author of two books: Suffering in Silence: Ministering to Those with Mental Illness; and Ruth: A Story of God's Redeeming Love.
"For the last three and a half centuries, the Westminster Standards have trained generations of men and women to live with courageous peace, holy intention, and confident hope. These precious documents trace the pathway of faith and obedience that God reveals in his Word. Like a building with a thousand windows, the confession and catechisms radiate the clear light of Christ in every direction, inviting the reader to come and worship the Lord." Joel Beeke.

African Bible University is announcing a one week course in Biblical Christian Ethics taught by Philip Haines
Philip has been the minister of Ely Presbyterian Church in Cardiff since 2011. Whilst he grew up in the church, it was not until 2004 that he believed the Lord was calling him into the ministry. After ex- pressing a call to ministry to the elders of the church he began formal theological training in 2005.
He studied a BD as an external student of the University of London, and completed a ThM from Westminster Seminary, Philadelphia. Rev. Haines is married to Julia, and they have 3 sons; Joshua (17), Zach (15) and Jamie (12). Phil & Julia are also foster parents and care for a little girl called Amelia (5). Besides the church, I really enjoy sport and I coach football at a local club.
Ethics is a study of how one lives based on a value system. The values taught in this course are based on the teachings of the Scriptures, the Bible. It is Christian because it is also based on the person and work of Jesus Christ (who He is and what He did/does), and that Christ’s disciples are united to Him and His accom- plishments by God’s grace. How they should then live is the focus of this course.
Topics to be considered include Love, Sin, Law, the 10 Command- ments.

We are grateful to God to have successfully completed a two-day Education Symposium organized by African Bible University on the topic "Building Consensus Around Uganda's New Standards: How to teach and assess for learner’s success.”
Our symposium was graced by renowned facilitators from institutions such as the National Curriculum Development Centre (NCDC), Makerere University, and even experts from the United States, among others. The collective knowledge and expertise brought by these esteemed individuals undoubtedly contributed to the fruitful discussions and insights shared during the event.
We firmly believe that through this symposium, productive discussions took place, and practical solutions were derived to greatly improve Uganda's education system. It is our hope that these outcomes will positively impact the education landscape and pave the way for enhanced learner success in the country.

Jesus looked at them and said, with man it is impossible, but not with God. For all things are possible with God.
• Mark 10: 27 ESV

Our Vice Chancellor, Dr. Jeremiah Pitts, was invited as the Chief Guest for this year's graduation ceremony. The invitation came from our esteemed alumnus, Pastor Walter Martin, Class of 2016.
Pastor Martin is currently engaged in training pastors in Tororo, Busia, and various regions of Kenya at a certificate level. It is truly inspiring to witness the impactful work that our alumni are contributing to society and the communities they have been placed in by God.
