As a small business owner, deciding when to make the leap to website ownership can be challenging. After all, you’ve got dozens of other tasks on your “to do” list – why should you waste time building a website if you aren’t even sure that your customers will visit it? Well, the answer to that question is pretty simple. Research conducted by marketing agencies indicates that as many as 78% of consumers conduct product research online before making purchases, meaning that if your business isn’t online, you’re missing out on a huge opportunity to connect with potential customers!

We are looking for creative minds to share our vision. Take a look at our job openings and apply today!

[01/25/16]   without ICT in this generation it is like having no water at home therefore let's promote our communities through ICT support, facilitation and exchange for a better tomorrow

Information Communication Technology is developing at a very fast rate and it has a huge effect on various socio-economic activities. ICT has successfully been incorporated into nearly every sector of education, commerce, civic activity and government in the developed countries of the world and is considered a key factor in wealth creation worldwide. Regrettably, for most African countries, ICT is yet to take a foothold. The major obstacles to ICT integration in Africa has been inadequate access to IT resources and computer illiteracy. According to a taskforce of the UN on ICT, Africa is the only continent with a pronounced digital divide. The continent remains largely unconnected in a world that is increasingly getting connected to the internet.

Uganda ICT Forum “A Nation where all have access to ICTs”
This Forum is composed of Information and Communications Technologies (ICTs) professionals, service providers, practioners, researchers, policy makers, students etc.
Many people see technology as a solution to some of the problems that exist on our planet. It’s true that technology can be used for good, but with new developments come new challenges issues. The digital divide is one such issue, one that people are actively trying to overcome. Telecentres aim to bridge the digital divide by providing people access and knowledge about information technologies. A global telecentre movement is growing right now. Unfortunately, even where computer facilities are readily available, the digital divide persists—even in the world’s most wealthy countries, access to the latest and most beneficial technologies is limited for those in rural areas and people with disabilities.
