As a family, we were concerned about the quality of Seasonings we use to cook our meals . So we set a goal to research and understand what seasonings (curry powder, spices, herbs and chemicals) are made of. What we understood caused us to start blending our own seasonings. We carefully selected, cleaned and sun dried the ingredients. We avoided chemicals to keep the seasonings natural. The result was seasonings that are natural and full of a wonderful aroma and taste. Vistors to our home often asked us to share with them the brand name of the seasonings we used to cook. We would tell them that they are home made. Some would look at us in disbelief, but we showed them some of the ingredients. Thereafter, we decided to share this Ugandan Seasonings branded as Foodmate. That is how Foodmate was born for:
