Class 5 of the eFounders Fellowship jointly organized by Alibaba Business School and UNCTAD, is now open (https://bit.ly/2T3OE1p) to founders/co-founders of digital ventures from Botswana, Cameroon, Chad, Kenya, Rwanda, or Uganda.

As the third class open to entrepreneurs from Africa, the program will build upon a focus towards the challenges currently being faced in creating successful businesses across the continent. Meet our #championofchange

Barbara Ssanyu is the CEO of Fusion Fabrications Solutions located at Masajja off salama Munyonyo dealing in all kinds of steel fabrication including gates, doors, grills, collapsable burglar, chairs, tables as well as aluminium fittings. She holds a bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management from Makerere University. She also holds a certificate in welding and metal fabrication from Datamine Technical Institute and is currently pursuing a diploma in welding and metal fabrication. Barbara is a devoted mother of 3 and has been a passionate welder for the last 5years.

Before joining the Fabrications industry, she ran a series of businesses including two baby shops, a design retail store where she sold fabrics like African traditional wear, jewelry, and crafts. She also did #socialmedia marketing for brands like Jesa Farm diary. She has a dream of seeing women rise up beyond self-pity and take their rightful places in society with Godly values.

She will be joining us this #IWD to share her story and gems on how she has navigated her motherhood, business, and career journey so far. We are delighted to have had more than 150 ladies complete and graduate from our #covidrecoveryprogram in 2020 in partnership with Funzi. Caroline N. Mawanda, CNP is the President of IntraKey Nursing Services, LLC, located in North Billerica, Massachusetts. IntraKey Nursing Services is a Nurse Practitioner owned healthcare agency that provides medical and non-medical services to clients in the community. IntraKey Nursing Services also provides temporary and permanent placement of both Nurses and nursing assistants to support both local and national healthcare facilities.

Caroline has been in the healthcare sector since 2005; starting job as a nurse assistant and currently working as a nurse practitioner at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates.

She is also a member of Massachusetts Nurses Association.
Caroline is also part of a community organization in Uganda; Seed of Hope to the Hopeless; which aims at ministering good news of Hope based on the truth in the word of God to men and women who have lost hope.

Peace N. Kuteesa, is the co-founder of Zimba Women which provides tools and technology platforms, business training, and mentorship for women-led SME's enabling them to manage and scale their businesses in Africa.

She is a Computer Engineer passionate about the integration of Cybersecurity and Digitalization’s effect on Innovations in business with the goal to inspire more women to pursue STEM and Entrepreneurial careers.

Peace has worked on technical IT projects for international organizations like U.S Mission Uganda, World Bank, and United Nations for over 10 years and currently serves as Gender and Digital Transformation Expert UNDP (UN Developement Programme) in NY.
