Success stories Incorporating cutting-edge technology, MeBK combined practical design with creative integration of content to effectively reflect the image of the following clients Consulting experience (2000 - present) a) Danish Embassy – (MDG3 Campaign) • Developed templates for the MDG3 campaign materials • Designed MDG3 poster, fact sheet, flyer, folder and supplements in 4 languages • Managed the overall quality of MDG3 design and production • The Batwa of UGANDA - A forgotten people, a book by Karsten Tadie b) USAID - IRCU (Inter-Religious Council of Uganda) • Designed a 2009 and 2010 calendars , brochures, many reports and greetings card etc c) USAID / SPRING Project – (Stability, Peace and Reconciliation in Northern Uganda) • Developed concepts for the SPRING materials: newsletters, posters and brochures • Designed SPRING brochures • Managed the overall quality of SPRING materials production, a three year stabilization project with a goal to mitigate the causes and consequences of the conflict in Northern Uganda d) Uganda – Ministry of Education and Sports • Designed the Presidential Initiative on AIDS Communication for Youth (PIASCY) initial handbooks for Primary and secondary schoools • Designed the Universal Primary Education stakeholders handbook • USAID - Early Childhood development (ECD) – production of Brochures, calendars addressing early childhood development issues and one calendar won an award as the second best designed calendar in 2004 • Developed a layout template for Kids Time a newspaper that promotes early childhood development and have been designing it till 2006 e) Uganda – AFFORD (UHMG) • Gave technical advice and developed a layout template for Everyday Health Matters (EHM) a newspaper that promotes value and skills among Ugandan population to avoid HIV/AIDS, Malaria and promote safe motherhood and palliative care in four languages and have been designing it till to date. f) MOST/USAID • Designed a folder, fact sheets and brochures in 6 languages addressing Vitamin A for children g) PATH –Kenya (Kenya and Uganda Scouts Associations) • Gave technical advice and developed layout templates for Scouts Voice Kenya and Scouts Voice Uganda newspapers that promote value and skills among scouts and non scouts to avoid HIV/AIDS. h) EMG / HIPS – (Health Initiatives for the Private Sector Project) • Re-branding print materials including various posters, fact sheets, flyers, brochures, flipcharts, booklets, newsletters and calendars up to production • Designed a number of books and handled printing • Managing the overall quality of HIPS materials and production and still on going i) RCQHC – (Regional Centre for Quality of Health Care - Uganda) • Designed RCQHC materials including fact sheet, flyer, brochure, flipchart, booklets, • Managed the overall quality and production of RCQHC materials addressing palliative / nutritional care for people living with HIV/AIDS and Food and nutritional counselling for people on Antiretroviral Therapy j) Uganda – Ministry of Health i) EngenderHealth o Designed posters giving information on prevention and treatment of Fistula ii) CARE international o Designed booklets with safe motherhood messages. iii) CHDC/ AOGU (Association of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Uganda) o Designed booklets, posters, fact sheet, brochure and supplements giving information on the cancer of the cervix and its prevention. k) Malaria Consortium – (Malaria Campaign) • Designed brochures addressing prevention and treatment of malaria in various languages l) American Refugee Committee • Developed a template and designed a newsletter for a special edition of Straight Talk targeting Southern Sudan m) European Union • Developed a template and designed Money World Newspaper in 5 languages.
