Outline
Acquire operational skills for desktop
editing.
Understand the basic principles of
editing.
Introduction to non-linear editing.
Digitising and organising rushes.
Outputting material.
Simple editing.
Editing exercises.
Ingest material ready for editing.
Perform simple cut editing.
Recognise the trim features as used
in the fine cut process.
Perform basic track-laying.
Output edited sequences.
Cancellation Policy
Here is the number of days before
the course start date and the
percentage of refund you will receive
if you cancel: 1 to 14 days = 0%
refunded; 15 to 28 days = 50%
refunded; 29 or more days = 100%
refunded.
Distance Selling Regulations
Individuals paying for their own
training with the BBC Academy are
subject to the Distance Selling
Regulations law which means that
individuals are entitled to a 15 day
cooling off period, during which they
are required to be able to cancel
any course bookings they have made
without incurring any charge.
This only applies to individuals
paying for their own courses and not
where a course has been paid for by
a company.
