Kibuli Old Students' Association joins the entire nation of Uganda in mourning the passing on of a gallant son, spirited leader and revolutionary of this generation, the Rt. Hon. Jacob Oulanyah. We remember with fondness the Rt. Hon. Oulanyah's acceptance and participation in Kibuli @ 68 years' Celebration Marathon in 2013 as the chief marathoner . His friendship to us as Old boys and girls shall never be forgotten and this is a memory which we shall treasure forever.
We now pray for a peaceful repose of his soul and for strength for the family and the entire nation!

The Kibuli Secondary School community mourns a legend in former Economics Teacher Mr. Joseph Lwamba. He served the school in the golden 70S, 80s and 90s. He was known as much for his gentility as his brilliance at making Economics easy.
He was a father figure to many students and Teachers, he settled most of what seemed the most difficult moments at school with so much ease. He was always calm and approachable, and had time for anyone that sought his help. He leaves us with only wonderful memories. Our prayers and thoughts are with his family especially his Children (our members) Rose, Timothy and Claire.
May his soul rest in eternal peace
May 2022 come with bounties of blessings to you and your family.
We join the continent (Africa) in mourning, a great man, great parent, great businessman, great leader and a great mentor that has inspired many. May the Lord almighty receive you with mercy, and grant you a place in paradise Dr. Hajj Bulayimu Muwanga Kibirige (BMK).
BMK was a parent at Kibuli Secondary School and always positively responded towards anything to do with propelling the only School.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to BMK's Family.
May Allah shower blessings upon you and your family this day and forever after.
Eid (al Adha) Mubarak
With deepest sadness we announce the passing of Mr. Sewajje Fred.
Mr. Sewajje joined Kibuli Secondary School in the 1990's. He taught Physics with zeal and tenacity. At the time of his passing, he has been the serving Head of Department of Physics. His students of the 90's and 00's might remember him as a no nonsense disciplinarian. Yet he was also fatherly, caring and understanding.
Those who worked with him found him a straightforward individual and a great friend. He loved his work and loved people. To the widow, the children (Sonko and his siblings), the Kibuli SS family, please accept our sincerest condolences. We pray the great Kibuli physicist rests in peace.
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Walugere Richard a former Chemistry Teacher at Kibuli Secondary School.
Mr. Walugere was among the team of teachers that maintained Kibuli among the best Schools (especially at Science Subjects) in the country during the 90s and early 2000s. He mentored many with his gentle and kind approach which made all his students feel loved and important.
His name is engraved among the greatest service men of Kibuli Secondary School. Our deepest sympathy go to members of his Family. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
It is a unique 71st Graduation Ceremony at Makerere University. Unlike usual, only First class undergraduate graduands were physically invited to the Graduation ceremony. That criteria didn't eliminate our own Nakiryowa Fayruz Nsubuga who scored a First Class with a CGPA of 4.40 in her Bachelor of Commerce. Congratulations to her and all our own that have graduated this week. May your achievement be a pivot for success in your careers. #KOSAGirlsRock

The Kibuli Secondary School was established in 1945 as a Junior School, on the 80 acre land donated by the late Prince Alhaj Badru Wasajja Kakungulu, with the major objective of educating Muslim children in order to redress the historical imbalance in Muslim education relative to other religious denominations.
In 1960 Kibuli Junior School was upgraded into secondary school education for both Muslims and non-Muslims. It started as a private school and in 1962 it became Government aided. In 1968 it was upgraded to ‘A’ level status.
