🌟Digital Rights for Girls and Women🌟
Last week, under the project, we successfully held a series of trainings in Hoima, Kabale, Fort Portal and Kampala districts focusing on the intersection of gender and technology.
With support from Enabel, the trainings convened Civil Society Organisations, policy makers, media, gender advocates and technologists to discuss how technology can be leveraged to bridge gender gaps and create inclusive digital spaces.
The trainings created a platform for key stakeholders to explore practical solutions for bridging the digital gender gaps and raised awareness among the participants, particularly women and girls, on online gender-based violence and available services for victims.
👏Big thanks to our participants for your wonderful insights & recommendations!
We are excited to see how these conversations around will shape future policies & initiatives.👏
