The mandate of the Corporation as defined in the National Water & Sewerage Corporation Statute of 1995, Section 5 (1), is to operate and provide water and sewerage services in areas entrusted to it, on a sound, commercial and viable basis. The NWSC operations were initially in three towns of Kampala, Jinja, and Entebbe. In 1988, four additional towns

The Management of National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC), Kampala Water regrets to inform its valued customers and the general public that there will be interruptions in water supply tomorrow Saturday 12th August, 2023 from 7pm to 5am.
This is to allow a team of specialist engineers undertake emergency works along the Ggaba-Muyenga bulk water transmission main.
Affected areas:
Muyenga, parts of Kampala CDB, Kireka, parts of Bweyogerere, Nakawa, parts of Mbuya, parts of Banda, Kyambogo, Kinawataka, Rubaga, Nansana, Namirembe, parts of Kanyanya, Namungona, Kamwokya, Mulago, Bwaise and the surrounding areas.
The works are estimated to last 11 hours.

This is to allow a team of specialist engineers undertake emergency works at Ggaba 1 water treatment plant.

To do this, we must speak the same service language, drive in the same service vehicle, and subsequently arrive at the same location, with the same purpose of delighting our customers."
