How we came to start Destination Weddings Ug Ltd.

After Traveling the entire country Uganda and seeing the beauty she holds I always wanted to have a wedding in the middle of no where with a few close friends and family with a beautiful backdrop of Savannah lush green. The micro wedding Idea was openly welcomed by my husband and we dreamt together the big day.

We built the concept planned out every bit of the day. As we wanted it in the middle of the National Savannah park . To tell you that anyone understood our idea is an understatement. We had to cater for every thing did the site visit in the National Park to select the best ceremony venue engaged different lodges about the dream wedding but many didn’t get it. Instead everyone had that traditional white wedding idea that we all have seen in the country but that’s not what we wanted.

We dreamt our big day and it was successful and beautiful as we wanted. But after that we dreamt bigger a full Company to support wild dreaming couples have their wild dream wedding day come to life.

The experience of a Micro Safari wedding is unmatched that if couple dreams it it’s better they get a full experience. It breaks a number of traditions and rather celebrates the couple creating everlasting memories.
