President Yoweri Museveni has expressed concerns over the financial burden of Uganda's numerous agencies and authorities. In 2016, these entities received UGX 2.2 trillion in funding, employing only 3,905 individuals, whereas ministries with over 18,500 employees received UGX 2.6 trillion ¹. Museveni emphasized the need for reform via his social media account, highlighting three key areas for improvement:

- *Streamlining Government Structures*: Eliminating redundant functions and strengthening ministerial capacity.
- *Boosting Tax Revenue Collection*: Enhancing revenue collection to support development projects.
- *Prioritizing Sustainable Budgeting*: Ensuring essential infrastructure projects are completed efficiently.

Museveni's call for reform aims to optimize resource allocation, promote economic growth, and improve public service delivery. By addressing these concerns, Uganda can move towards a more efficient and effective governance system.

Indeed people don't know the value of what they have until they lose it, the poor and the rich cry differently, many of those ladies you see out there celebrating their divorce and separation from their spouses aren't truly happy, no one celebrates divorce and if they are truly happy then, they won't celebrate it.
