There's no success without succession. Governor Edward Kakembo Nsubuga is doing great and our District is destined to go to another level during his tour of duty. Let's all play our respective roles in support of the strategic direction of our leader. Well done Kampala Sunshine
During the just concluded 5th All Africa Zone Institute in Lusaka Zambia, the achievements of District 9213 gave Uganda an unprecedented visibility on the African continent in particular and the entire world in general. Emerging number one in membership growth in Africa and number four in the whole world is indeed something good to write home about. At number 3 in terms of TRF giving the same District didn't only stand out but was outstanding too. Thanks to the amazing leaders across board and at all levels of leadership in the District. The Amazing Presidents of the Imagine Rotary year went for Gold and came back with Gold. Tebali regular. 🇺🇬
Life long learning is the way to go if we are to be relevant not only for today but for tomorrow and the other day.
The best that we can be in this day and age is to endeavor to be the best versions of ourselves by engaging in a process of self improvement as a way of life. The you of today should be better than the you of yesterday.

Only one day at a time, one moment at a time and the best out of them is to make the best of them. I try to do that every single day a particular day can never come back the same way in every way.
Tourism is a big time in Botswana with many arrivals registered throughout the year. This Safari resort is one of the many popular destinations. Nice place, great people and good food.
There's something good happening in Zambia and Botswana regarding infrastructure development. This is such a great bridge that connects the two countries. Its well done and well maintained.

Only one destructive person can destroy a group. Its undesirable for me to be that kind of person. None of you should ever desire to be that kind of person too.
It's because of teachers that we are who we are because they helped us to translate our dreams into reality. For that matter you and I owe them a big pat on the back.
Basic education and literacy enhancement program (BELEP) provides an ecosystem within which all the relevant stakeholders can make their valuable contributions to the education value chain. I therefore call upon all Rotarians to stand up and be counted for unwaveringly supporting BELEP in an amazing way.
Happy teachers day indeed. Call any of your teachers and wish them well.

Membership growth is the best thing that can happen to Rotary in this day and age. This is because the needs of our communities that Rotary attend to through the 7 areas of focus that include peace and conflict resolution, basic education and literacy, Maternal and child health, disease prevention and treatment, economic and community development, water and sanitation and environmental protection and conservation are ever increasing.
Therefore we need more quality members to help deal with the aforementioned challenges. I therefore wish to congratulate the Rotary Club of Kampala for having attracted 6 new quality members that were inducted by Governor Emmanuel Katongole. I was privileged to have participated in the same induction ceremony at Kampala Sheraton Hotel yesterday.
