As part of the efforts to protect the environment and climate change, youths of Buwenge Community Development Association planted trees in the community compound. This follows the recent drought that was as a result of un necessary cutting of trees with money orientation..

In our dedication to see no child left behind because of scholastic materials, atleast we reached 300 children of grade 2 to grade 6 with scholastic materials. This was agreat milestone and it's our aim to support the vulnerable families.

Today we were visited by a team from childfund Korea visiting some of their sponsored children. These included innocent Nabide from Busiya2, Rosemary inensiko from igombe. They were excited by the transformed lives of the families.
The families were happy for the blessing. The childfund korea staff bought a pair of trousers and ashirt from one of our beneficiaries of IGA mama innocent.
This was agreat day for us

Coming to close our FY24 , we successfully completed our Annual General parents assembly. This was aimed at giving accountability to the parents of the new innovations, plans and many other discussions.

We look at empowering the girl child and boy child with literacy and numeracy. We held inter school academic competition for Buwera p/s, Nkondo p/s, and Muwangi p/s school. Children showed case in reading skills both local language and English, debating competition, etc.

It has been awhile. We come with good good news from our youths who have successfully completed their 1yr vocational DIT course in different trades from Buwenge Vocational training center. "Education for self reliance and sustainability". We want to see acomplete person with ahigher reasoning with high productivity.

New members swore in inclusive of anew vice chairperson Mss Sarah Nakubulwa and new treasure Mr Charles waigada.
