On 6th December 2024, our company, Sumic IT Solutions Ltd, was recognized by the Private Sector Foundation Uganda- (PSFU) as the Youth Organization of the Year 2024, and I was deeply honored to receive the Youth Entrepreneur of the Year 2024 Award on behalf of the entire Sumic Organization.

Exploring Synergies for Growth: Columbia University & Mandulis Energy Visit

↘️ Yesterday, we had the honor of hosting fellows from the Columbia University School of Public & International Affairs (USA) and the CEO of Mandulis Energy Ltd, Mr. Peter Benhur O. Nyeko, at Sumic IT Solutions Ltd.

Our discussions revolved around how startups are addressing critical challenges such as electricity access and climate change adaptation to scale their solutions. Together, we explored strategies to ensure companies like Sumic IT Solutions Ltd can effectively reach unserved and underserved areas in Uganda.

Key topics included:
1️⃣ Access to stable electricity: A foundational need for tech-driven solutions.
