Earlier today our MD met the Nogamu CEO and PP&J officials for collaboration and partnership strategies.
The meeting also looked at some of the policy requirements for promotion of Organic Farming like;
- The National Organic Agriculture Policy (2020-2025): A policy that aims at promoting sustainable agriculture, improve livelihoods, and protect the environment. Key objectives include strengthening research, promoting education and training, and enhancing market development.
- Certification and Accreditation: Where Organic farmers must obtain certification from accredited bodies like UgoCert, which verifies compliance with Uganda's organic standards.
- Prohibited Inputs: Organic farming prohibits synthetic chemicals, genetically modified organisms (GMOs), and other harmful substances.
We know and agree that the model of the Desired Homestead can be driven under the Organically organized farmers.

AGRICULTURE LEARNING TOUR
A delegation of Born Again pastors in Kagadi district led by Snr. Pr. Deo Mwesige of Kagadi Christian Fellowship Church is having a life changing Agriculture Learning Tour at Goodyear's Farm and Education Centre Kitema Kyenzige to learn new Agronomic practices and unlearn old fashion agriculture practices.
Among other issues to learn are; *The desired homestead model, organic farming and sustainable development*

LEARNING JOURNEY
Last day the 16th of February 2026, we have had the privilege to host the East African Legislative Assembly, EALA also Buyaga West Member of Parliament Hon. Denis Namara and his team at Goodyear's Farm and Education Centre Kitema Kyenzige on a fact finding mission about the Desired Model Homestead which the honorable intents to spread to the constituency.
According to Hon. Denis, he has been impressed by the projects at our farm like Cocoa, Piggery, Bananas, ducks and Chicken among others.
He has also promised to collaboratively partner with us to deliver a model homestead, preserve the environment and also spur sustainable development.
