Thomas Mbashu is the Tripesa country lead in Kenya. He is responsible for client acquisition and is making great strides. Thomas was born and raised in Mombasa. After joining Tripesa he chose to move back to the coast and do what he considers giving back to the tourism sector that gave him and his extended family a lot more. Yes, we did it. We launched Tripesa on 20th May and set out to talk to our customers, get their feedback on the product, validate the problems we were trying to solve and figure out how to grow this business. We have received a lot of feedback and shall use that as we rebuild. Some highlights.
1. We need to increase how customizable website templates are, and build additional templates.
2. We must incorporate payments ASAP.
3. We must build a mobile application for the agent management dashboard ASAP.
4. We must build additional agent notifications, SMS, Whatsapp and others.
5. We must build marketing plugins ASAP.
We shall do these and more over the next couple of days and our new target 100 websites in 30 days. We shall not post these day by day, however, shall regularly share our updates. Please follow the Tripesa page for these.

Yes, we did it. We launched Tripesa on 20th May and set out to talk to our customers, get their feedback on the product, validate the problems we were trying to solve and figure out how to grow this business. We have received a lot of feedback and shall use that as we rebuild. Some highlights.
1. We need to increase how customizable website templates are, and build additional templates.
2. We must incorporate payments ASAP.

The community for long have run birding tours, fishing, hikes and more, however never really been able to package their products or have much of a digital presence. Tripesa is working with community operators to help them package, distribute B2B and B2C and build new quality experiences to this location, they can now sell online. We are also excited about the ongoing MOU discussions with the Agritourism Association of Uganda that would get over 100 farms from coffee, diary to Ostriches, using Tripesa to build and sell tours.
