In Tanzania, the famous tree-climbing lions are mainly found in:

Lake Manyara National Park (the most well-known place)

Sometimes also in parts of Serengeti National Park, though this is rare

Even though lions usually live on the ground, in Lake Manyara they climb trees because:

The park can be hot with biting insects, so trees offer comfort and relief.

🌬️ To catch cool breeze

Higher branches provide better airflow and cooler resting spots.

From the trees, lions can watch prey like zebras, wildebeests, and buffalo.
