Ukisoma vitabu vya historia utaona kuwa nyayo za mtu wa zamani aliyeanza kutembea kwa miguu miwili zilipatikana katika Kijiji cha Endeluni, wilaya ya Ngorongoro mkoani Arusha.
Kijiji hiki kipo kilometa 34 kutoka Makao Makuu ya Mamlaka ya Hifadhi ya Ngorongoro na eneo halisi lenye alama hizo za historia ya binadamu linajulikana k**a Laetoli.
Tukiwa katika jopo la waandishi wa habari, tumewasili eneo la Laetoli ambalo kwa jamii ya Kimasai lina maana ya eneo lenye vitu vizuri, kwa kuwa lina bonde, miti na uwanda wa kupendeza wenye nyasi nzuri kwa ajili ya malisho ya mifugo ya nyumbani na wale wa porini na maji mengi kutoka Mto Ngarusi.
Tunapokewa na Simel Odorop (29) anajitambulisha kuwa yeye ni mlinzi mkazi wa Kijiji cha Enduleni. Anakiri kuwa pamoja na umaarufu wa eneo hilo, jamii haijanufaika kiuchumi kwa kuwa wageni hawafiki wengi, eneo hilo la kihistoria.
“Wageni hasa Wazungu wachache wanaokuja hapa wanataka kuona nyayo halisi lakini wakifika wanaonyeshwa kaburi zilimofikiwa. Wapo wanaotaka wafukue ili waone nyayo hizo, lakini tunawakataza,” anasema.
Anasema Serikali iliamua kuzifukia nyayo hizo ikisubiri ijengwe makumbusho ambayo itaweza kutunza vizuri nyayo hizo ili watalii wawe wanafika kuziona.
