Port Operations Update – 9 September 2026

The port is finally available tonight, allowing us to proceed with the Pre-COP building materials.

Our team is now working to move and handle the materials as PWD is pushing to have the Pre-COP accommodation completed ahead of the upcoming Pre-COP events.

Today, we couldn’t do much work at the port as the berths were occupied by cargo vessels.

Rather than sitting idle, our team used the time productively. 💪🔧 The HB Mechanical Workshop team carried out a quick maintenance and check-up of our forklift, keeping it ready for our next operations.

Good morning !
Please be advised that the cargo vessel Southern Pearl (Voyage 2607N) is currently anchored in the Funafuti lagoon.

The vessel is expected to come alongside the Funafuti wharf tomorrow morning to commence container discharge operations, subject to berth availability.

We will continue to provide further updates as they become available. Fafetai lasi (thank you very much).

8 September 2026 – Logistics Services

Today, our team devanned and palletized cement and electrical items from two containers belonging to TnU Construction Service.

The palletized cargo will be shipped to Vaitupu Island for the Multipurpose Hall Project.

Nui Kaupule Project - Building Materials Loading Update

The loading of the building materials was held up due to some circumstances. After discussions with the Secretary of Nui Kaupule and the Secretary of MTECI, we were able to proceed, although this caused some delay to the Nivaga’s schedule to the North (Nui - Niutao).

Thank you to both Secretaries, the Marine Port team, and especially the Nui community for helping us speed up the devanning and repacking of timbers and steel rods. 🙏🏽💪🏽🚢🇹🇻

Repacking Done – 2nd September 2026 ☀️📦

What a hot and busy day! We worked hard to catch up with the shipment loading schedule and successfully devanned and repacked PWD DAS Nanumea bricks as requested.
