Revival Time Assembly was birthed by two Canadian missionaries Lawrence and Esther Ulseth who came with their family to the twin- island state of Trinidad & Tobago in 1956. The Gospel message had tremendous appeal among the middle and lower class people of San- Fernando and the church began to experience such growth that they moved into a larger building on lower Chacon Street in 1957. In 1958 the
Ulseths joined by Rev. Daoud, held a Full Gospel crusade at the Rodriguez Building (now the Government Building) on the King’s Warf. Out of this crusade, Revival Time Assembly was born. The fledgling church moved to the Steel Building, affectionately called the steel shed, on King’s Wharf in January of 1962. There was a changing of the guard in 1990 when the mantle was passed to Revs. Lloyd and Norma Hart. Known for his statesmanship and respected for his integrity in Ministry, under his guidance the vision to establish a permanent residence for the RTA was realised. The building project began in 1992 and the congregation amidst much pomp entered its home in 1993 at St. Vincent Street. The pillars of evangelism and intercessory prayer were the focus of the Harts, with Rev. Norma Hart giving stewardship in intercessory prayer, Women’s Ministry and Sunday School Teacher. Harts are ably assisted by Rev. Anthony Roberts, Assistant Pastor -Youth, Pastor Selwyn Haynes, Assistant Pastor- Missions and Bro. Richard Hart, Assistant to the Senior Pastors. The work in this part of the vineyard continues with Revivaltime Assembly as a beacon to lost souls in San Fernando.
