Naparima College African Cultural Club Established in 2014 and first held an Emancipation Program in 2015.

The Naparima College Emancipation Programme aims is to share messages of inspiration to the young men in our charge through song, dance, poetry and presentations by reputable and inspirational persons who have contributed to the promotion and development of Trinidad and Tobago.

Preceding this event are two completions:
1. A Spoken Word Competition and
2. An Art Competition.

These are judged before the event and the winners of the competitions are showcased at the program.

To finance the Competitions and the Emancipation Program the Club usually hosts a fund raising Bar-B-Que on Wednesday 23rd September 2026.
