Show your mom your love for her this year with a gift that will brighten her home and warm her heart ๐ŸŽโ™ฅ๏ธ

A motherโ€™s love for her child is like nothing else in the world. It knows no law, no pity, it dates things and crushes down remorselessly all that stands in its path - Agatha Christie

Are you tired of those old styrofoam containers that you get from your local nursery? They are easy to break and end up as waste. Our Thyme plants are in small plastic white pots that are far more durable as well as reusable and theyโ€™re the perfect size for the kitchen. ๐Ÿถ

Thyme is an herb whose small leaves grow on clusters of thin stems. Thyme is used to season all kinds of dishes, either by itself or as part of a blend or bouquet garni alongside other common herbs like rosemary, sage, and marjoram .Originally from the Mediterranean area, this herb is drought-friendly so it doesnโ€™t have high watering needs. It is also pollinator-friendly! Let some thyme plants flower, since the herb attracts the bees. ๐Ÿ’ง๐Ÿ

Harvest thyme just before the plant flowers by cutting off the top five to six inches of growth. Thyme adds a gentle flavor to just about anything, especially eggs, tomatoes, meats, soups, beans, and potatoes. Itโ€™s taste has been described as a bit earthy with lemony and minty tones. ๐Ÿฅฉ๐ŸŒฟ

Thyme is safe for dogs. Dogs can consume moderate amounts of thyme without any issue. Infact thyme has an active compound, Thymol, which has potent antibacterial and antiseptic properties. Using thyme oil on your dogโ€™s skin can also help eliminate bacterial and fungal infection of the skin. โœ”๏ธ๐Ÿ•โ€๐Ÿฆบ๐Ÿฆฎ

Coleus plants are eye-dazzlers and easy-going with impossibly colorful leaves. Theyโ€™re magnificent on their own in a flower pot, and the flash of their foliage lights up a flower bed. โ˜˜๏ธ๐Ÿ

They are tender tropical plants grown for their leaves, not for their flowers. The leaf patterns are distinctly on the wild side โ€” spotted, splashed, and artistically edged in shades of color ranging from purple, yellow, pink, intense red, and luminous chartreuse. ๐ŸŒผ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒบ

Coleus has long been considered a shade plant but the best leaf color is achieved with morning sun and some degree of afternoon shade. Many varieties do well in both shade and part-sun. Some can take quite a bit of sun as long as they are not allowed to dry out. ๐ŸŒค๐ŸŒž๐Ÿ’ฆ

While Coleus plants arenโ€™t considered toxic to people, they may pose a threat to animals. The oils contained in the plant are toxic to dogs and cats when ingested or absorbed through the skin. โœ–๏ธ๐Ÿฆฎ๐Ÿˆ

Aglaonema Red Gold' is a hybrid selection of Chinese evergreen that features glossy, green foliage with red margins and red and yellow streaks. Mature plants will reach up to 3' tall with an equal spread. ๐ŸŒบ

Itโ€™s an ideal houseplant for people who have a history of killing houseplants or for people who arenโ€™t home that much, but still want a bit of greenery in their decor. ๐ŸŽ

NASA has placed the Aglaonema modestum variety on its top ten list of clean air plants because of the plantโ€™s natural ability to remove benzene and formaldehyde from air sources. ๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿš€๐ŸŒฑ

The ASPCA states that it is a toxin to cats, dogs, and horses. Aglaonema and cats and dogs should not mix. Donโ€™t let them eat it, and if they do, get them to the vet immediately! โŒ๐Ÿ•โ€๐Ÿฆบ๐Ÿˆ

Spider plants (Chlorophytum comosum. Variegatum), also known as ribbon plants are a common houseplant and do well in hanging baskets where leaves can cascade down the side. ๐ŸŒฟ

It has attractive striped green and white leaves and small white flowers. They prefers bright, indirect light and propagates easily by plantlets or division. ๐ŸŒฑ

Give the plant a moderate amount of water during the growing season and do not over-fertilize as this decreases plantlet formation. Plantlets or pups form when it receives short days and long, uninterrupted nights for at least three weeks. ๐Ÿ’ฆ๐ŸŒ’

Non-toxic to dogs and cats โœ”๏ธ๐Ÿ•๐Ÿˆ
