New painting hot off the easel oils on canvas 60 x 80cm not sure about title maybe "Sunflowers? Used Palette knife for the background and brush in Alla Prima style for the flowers to finish in one pass no layering.

For the next stage I am painting the Sun flowers using the "Alla Prima" technique or wet on wet. No layering just painting lights over darks applying thick paint with a soft brush. This will also produce a nice textured effect.

Put a new Canvas on the easel and blocked it in with some burnt seana. Yea I know sunflowers but they are 😍

"Vikings" Oil on canvas 80x60cm.

A new painting is on the easel, my friends. I've always wanted to paint a ship at sea, so let's do it! This will be a Viking ship on a very rough sea. I think inspired by the TV series Vikings. Anyway it's going to be very interesting to paint this as I love painting the sea! This is just the 1st the block in to get an idea of where everything will go😉.

Here's another painting Oil on canvas 50x60cm mostly Pallet knife and some brush techniques used. Do I need to give my paintings titles? I notice most painters do anyways it's supposed to be a Lotus pond.

First new painting since moving to the new house. 60x40cm Oils on canvas.

Bit of an experimental painting for me almost totally done with a palette knife in a very much looser style than I usually do. On the plus side it only took a day rather than a month, which was refreshing! Paint is really thick and textured more like a sculpture! Oil on Linen 40x60cm.
