Tavee Guest House since 1985- a family run business/ perfectly located in a quiet area/ unique blend of Thai street life and newer influences of tourists and travelers.

1). Built in traditional Thai style using traditional materials/ teak flooring & wood-paneled walls with open brickwork, stone and ceramic. Wooden ceiling fans & tastefully understated Thai décor create an elegant yet relaxed and warm ambience. Cleaning, polishing and dusting takes place daily and by any standards the rooms and the communal areas are immaculate.

2). Ground floor is a restaurant with an extensive menu/ Thai and Western breakfast food/ comfortable lounge area/sofas with an open frontage to the street, ideal for people watching.

3). The accommodation above ranges from simple rooms with ceiling fan and shared facilities, to larger rooms with AC, (optional) en suite bathrooms. Enjoy a super clean in all areas/ bedroom/ lounge/ shower and in every where.

4). The facilities available include: laundry, fully qualified traditional Thai massage, an internet with a fast connection and wireless LAN for usage of your laptop in your room or lounge area.

5). Advantages of being close enough (walking distance-15mintues) to the major tourist attraction, Grand Palace, Wat Po, Marble Temple, Dusit Zoo, Kao San and many more. Literally on its doorstep there is Wat Tewaraj, the National Library, the bustling local Thewet market and the permanent blaze of colour that is the daily local flower market. The Chao Prao River is a short stroll along the canal and riverboats stop at the local pier (Thewet, pier 15) every few minutes. This gives you a great chance to see Bangkok from the water and an easy, cheap and hassle free way to get to Chinatown and all the other places of interest along the river.

6). All in all, an ideal base for exploration of Bangkok or just to stay and enjoy the rhythm of this absorbing and entertaining area.

Our heartfelt condolences and deepest respect to the greatest Majesty King. May his majesty's soul rest in peace.

Today is “Loi Krathong” Thai Festival celebration event on the full moon of the 12th month of Thai Lunar calendar. Krathong or a floating flower decorated basket is traditionally made from a slice of banana trunk, together with circled folded banana leaves, flowers and pieces of good smell incents put together in the Krathong.

Floating the Krathong symbolizes the forgiveness, letting bad things going away with the river and also thanks goddess of water for prosperity and wealth of agriculture throughout the year. Part of the celebration- you guys can enjoy lighting shows and fireworks.

Then, let be part of our Thai festival event and let floating Krathong at “Chao Phraya River”- the closet river from the guesthouse.

Sri Ayuttaya guest house, is perfectly located in a quiet area that has a unique blend of typical Thai street life and newer influences of tourists and travellers.

It has the advantage of being close enough (walking distance, 15 minutes) to the major tourist attractions, Grand Palace, Wat Po, Marble Temple, Kao San.

However the atmosphere is a world away from the frenzy of the Kao San road and the hectic pace of its bars, restaurants and shopping. Many return visitors consider Sri Ayuttaya and its street an oasis in Bangkok’s chaotic sprawl.
