‘เจริญ - Charoen’ (2018)

The designer chose the word ‘Charoen’ (prosperity) and told the stories of the old town in Bangkok through copper threads, which were sewn to link the layers of diaphanous curtains hung apart from one another, each representing each generation living along the street.

The copper thread reacted with the air and turned dull as the embroidery progressed, symbolising the idea that yesterday is only today’s memory. This project show changes through times, from prosperity to novelty.

An architecture designed by XRANGE architects 十一事務所, Taipei, Taiwan. It's an honor for SRINLIM to be a part of this coolest project.

Wandering Wall is a cool place to stay. It has a unique architecture. 360-degree ocean view in the South of Taiwan Island.
