Thailand Wind Energy Association(TWEA) Joined as Supporting Partner of Thailand Renewable Energy Summit 2023

Thailand Wind Energy Association, an non-profit association which dedicated to the deployment of wind energy in Thailand, has joined as Supporting Partner in Thailand Renewable Energy Summit 2023, which will be scheduled on March 16th – 17th, 2023 in Bangkok, Thailand. Mr. Watcharapong Khemkaew, Vice President of the TWEA will join the panel discussion on the 17th, March.


About the TRES 2023
Thailand has a long history of promoting and supporting the renewable energy transition in order to enhance its energy efficiency and sustainability footstep. According to the Alternative Energy Development Plan (AEDP) 2018-37, Thailand government is targeting to install 18.7GW of total non-hydro renewable energy and to achieve 37% of the power mix by 2037. To enhance the local and international collaboration and promote the renewable energy development in Thailand, Neoventure Corporation is planning Thailand Renewable Energy Summit 2023 (TRES 2023), which will be scheduled on March 16th – 17th, 2023 in Bangkok, Thailand. นิวซีแลนด์ทดลองใช้ระบบส่งพลังงาน 'ไฟฟ้าไร้สาย' ทางไกลเชิงพาณิชย์ที่แรกของโลก เพื่อนำพลังงงานไปพื้นที่ห่างไกล

บริษัทสตาร์ทอัพ ‘Emrod’ ในนิวซีแลนด์ได้พัฒนาวิธีการส่งพลังงานไฟฟ้าแบบไร้สายในระยะทางไกลอย่างปลอดภัยโดยไม่ต้องมีสายไฟฟ้าเพื่อนำพาพลังงงานไปยังพื้นที่ห่างไกล เหมาะกับพื้นที่ทุรกันดารหรือข้ามภูมิประเทศที่ท้าทาย โดยได้รับแรงบันดาลใจจากนิโคลา เทสลา (Nikola Tesla) ซึ่งเคยพิสูจน์การจ่ายไฟฟ้าให้กับหลอดไฟที่มีระยะทางไกลกว่า 3 กิโลเมตรเมื่อปี 1890
.
“เทสลาได้แนะนำให้คนทั่วโลกรู้จักขณะที่ยังไม่มีเทคโนโลยี มีวิสัยทัศน์อยู่ที่นั่น แต่ไม่มีความสามารถในการดำเนินการ” เกรก คุชนีร์ (Greg Kushnir) ผู้ก่อตั้ง ‘Emrod’ กล่าว “เราได้พัฒนาเทคโนโลยีสำหรับการส่งพลังงานแบบไร้สายระยะไกลได้ซึ่งมีมาสักระยะหนึ่งแล้ว ฟังดูล้ำสมัยและน่าอัศจรรย์ แต่มันเป็นกระบวนการที่ทำซ้ำได้นับตั้งแต่เทสลาเคยทำ”

พวกเขาใช้เสาอากาศในการส่งพลังงานไฟฟ้าที่ถูกแปลงเป็นคลื่นไมโครเวฟและบีบมันให้แน่นจนเข้มข้นคล้ายกับลำแสง แล้วยิงไปยังจุดรับ สิ่งที่ต้องการคือจุดอ้างอิงสายตาที่ไม่มีอะไรมาขวางกั้นจากจุดหนึ่งไปยังอีกจุดหนึ่ง ซึ่งโดยปกติแล้วจะอยู่บนที่สูง เหมาะกับภูมิประเทศที่เป็นภูเขาของนิวซีแลนด์ จากนั้นตัวรับสัญญาณที่มีชื่อว่า “Rectenna” จะแปลงสัญญาณนั้นกลับเป็นไฟฟ้าและนำไปใช้งาน

ตัวส่งพลังงาน “จะปิดการส่งพลังงานทันทีก่อนวัตถุใด ๆ เช่นนก หรือเฮลิคอปเตอร์มาสัมผัสลำแสงหลักได้” พวกเขายังเสริมว่าเสาส่งสัญญาณจะทำงานได้ในทุกสภาพอากาศ รวมทั้งฝน หมอก หรือฝุ่นละออง ข้อจำกัดมีเพียงเส้นสายตาระหว่างสองจุด โดยมีค่าใช้จ่ายเล็กน้อยจากโครงสร้างพื้นฐาน ค่าบำรุงรักษาและผลกระทบต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมเล็กน้อยซึ่งน้อยกว่าการวางสายปกติ

คุชนีร์มั่นใจว่าความสำเร็จครั้งนี้ของ ‘Emrod’ จะเป็น “ก้าวกระโดดครั้งสำคัญ ที่จะพาเราไปสู่ระดับต่อไปจริง ๆ การยิงลำแสงเป็นเทรนด์ที่น่าตื่นเต้นที่สุดในด้านพลังงาน”

FTI organized a seminar to follow-up on the European Green Deal, including important issues that Thai exporters need to know.

7 ก.ค. 64 ดร.ภก.นิลสุวรรณ ลีลารัศมี และนายเกรียงไกร เธียรนุกุล รองประธาน ส.อ.ท. กล่าวเปิดงานสัมมนาออนไลน์ “จับตากระแส European Green Deal ประเด็นสำคัญที่ผู้ส่งออกไทยต้องรู้! EP.1 Circular Economy” จัดโดยคณะอนุกรรมการกฎระเบียบการค้าและพหุภาคี และคณะทำงาน BCG ส.อ.ท. โดยได้รับเกียรติจาก นายเสข วรรณเมธี เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงบรัสเซลส์ ร่วมกล่าวปาฐกถาพิเศษ และวิทยากรจาก สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงบรัสเซลส์ และกรมยุโรป กระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ร่วมให้การบรรยาย ซึ่งมีทั้งภาครัฐและเอกชนเข้าร่วมรับฟังกว่า 300 ท่าน
On 7 July 2021 Dr. Nilsuwan Leelarasamee and Mr.Kriengkrai Thiennukul, Vice Presidents of FTI gave opening remarks at a webinar following-up on the European Green Deal Important issues for Thai exporters. The seminar “EP.1 Circular Economy” was organized by the Trade and Multilateral Regulations Subcommittee and the BCG Working Group. The event was honoured by a key speech from Mr. Sek Wannamethee, Ambassador of Thailand to Brussels. Speakers from Royal Thai Embassy in Brussels and the European Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also made speeches. Representatives of the public and private sectors participated in the hearing, which had more than 300 attendees.
โดยมีประเด็นสำคัญ อาทิ การสร้างความเข้าใจภาพรวมนโยบาย European Green Deal ที่มีเป้าหมายเพื่อลดการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจก ซึ่งมีองค์ประกอบที่เกี่ยวเนื่องกับการส่งเสริมด้านพลังงาน เกษตร อาหาร และความหลากหลายทางชีวภาพ ฯลฯ ทั้งนี้ มาตรการ Circular Economy ของสหภาพยุโรป มุ่งเน้นสามประเด็นหลัก ได้แก่ 1) มาตรฐานความยั่งยืน 2) การให้ข้อมูลผู้บริโภค และ 3) วิธีการพิสูจน์ Environmental performance โดยมีกฎหมายที่ออกมาแล้ว อาทิ กฎหมาย Single-Use Plastic และร่างกฎหมายแบตเตอรี่ นอกจากนี้ ได้มีการบรรยายถึงแนวทางการบูรณาการความร่วมมือระหว่างภาครัฐและภาคเอกชน และความเชื่อมโยงมาตรการสิ่งแวดล้อมในกรอบการค้าและความร่วมมืออื่นๆ ระหว่างไทยและสหภาพยุโรป
Agenda issues included building an overall understanding of the European Green Deal policy that aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. This has elements related to the promotion of energy, agriculture, food and biodiversity, etc. The EU's circular economy measures focus on three main areas:
1) Sustainability standards
2) Providing consumer information
3) Proving methods of environmental performance
Some laws have already been passed, such as the Single-Use Plastic Law and the Battery Law. In addition, an approach to the integration of cooperation between the public and private sectors was described, as was the linkage of environmental measures in the trade framework and other cooperation between Thailand and the European Union.

The Subcommittee on Trade Regulations and Multilateralism has announced a seminar on "Keeping an eye on the European Green Deal trend; important issues that Thai exporters need to know about!". This covers other issues that are beneficial to the Thai private sector in preparing and dealing with the constantly changing EU measures. “รองนายกรัฐมนตรีของไทย ต้อนรับอุตสาหกรรมพลังงานระดับโลก สู่งาน งานฟิวเจอร์ เอนเนอร์ยี่ เอเชีย 2021”

เรียน ท่านผู้มีเกียรติในอุตสาหกรรม

กระทรวงพลังงาน ประเทศไทย ขอแสดงความยินดีและให้การสนับสนุนการจัดงานนิทรรศการและการประชุมฟิวเจอร์ เอนเนอร์ยี่ เอเชีย 2021 ที่จะเกิดขึ้นในระหว่างวันที่ 30 มิถุนายน ถึงวันที่ 2 กรกฎาคม 2564 ณ ไบเทคบางนา และผ่านแพลตฟอร์มออนไลน์ โดยงานนี้ ได้รับการยอมรับว่าเป็นหนึ่งในจุดนัดพบระดับโลกสำหรับอุตสาหกรรมพลังงาน เพื่อส่งเสริมความร่วมมือในการขับเคลื่อนการเปลี่ยนผ่านไปสู่พลังงานในอนาคต ที่มีความสะอาดมากขึ้น เป็นมิตรกับสิ่งแวดล้อม ทันสมัย และยั่งยืน

การระบาดของไวรัสโควิด-19 ถือได้ว่าส่งผลกระทบต่อภาคส่วนพลังงานค่อนข้างน้อย เมื่อเปรียบเทียบกับภาคส่วนอื่น ด้วยเหตุนี้ จึงเป็นเรื่องสำคัญมากที่เราควรพลิกความท้าทายให้กลายเป็นโอกาส โดยการปฏิวัติระบบพลังงานให้มีความยั่งยืนมากขึ้น เพื่อให้สอดคล้องกับเทรนด์ของโลกที่มุ่งสู่เศรษฐกิจคาร์บอนต่ำ พลังงานหมุนเวียนแสดงถึงโอกาสการลงทุนครั้งใหญ่ในอาเซียน ด้วยมูลค่าประมาณกว่า 281 พันล้านเหรียญดอลลาร์สหรัฐ ที่ถูกจัดสรรให้โครงการต่างๆที่เกี่ยวข้องกับพลังงานหมุนเวียนในระหว่างปีค.ศ. 2018 – 2025อาเซียนยังได้รับการคาดหวังให้เป็นกุญแจขับเคลื่อนการเติบโตของตลาด LNG ที่มีปริมาณ 83 ล้านตันต่อปี ในช่วงระหว่างปีค.ศ. 2019 – 2040 ด้วยศักยภาพในการเปิดตลาดก๊าซเสรี นอกจากนั้นแล้ว digitalization จะมีบทบาทสำคัญยิ่ง ในการเร่งการเปลี่ยนแปลงด้านพลังงานในภูมิภาค โดยการนำเอาเทคโนโลยีที่ยั่งยืนเข้ามาประยุกต์ใช้ เช่น smart grids, renewables integration และ high-performance energy efficiency

On January 28, 2021 the Thai Wind Energy Association had the opportunity to meet with the Subcommittee on Studying Electricity Price Restructuring in the House of Representatives on Energy Subcommittee. The discussed topics were about on the future direction of development of wind power projects for the generation of electricity of Thailand.

ThaiWEA seminar on “Solutions in time of crisis” and Annual General Meeting 2020 of Thai Wind Energy Association.

On Friday, November 27th, 2020, the association has held an academic seminar on "Solution in Time of Crisis" at Pullman King Power Bangkok Hotel.
The objectives of this seminar is to support and act as a point of contact in exchanging information and facilitating networking between members of the Thai Renewable Energy Industry in Thailand with a main purpose of promoting renewable energy in Thailand.
The Thai Wind Energy Association has received an honor from The Federation of Thai Industries, Renewable Energy Industry Club (FTI RE), Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT), The International REC Standard Foundation (I-REC), Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC), and DNV GL (Thailand) Co., Ltd. to be a guest speaker in an academic seminar on "Solutions in Time of Crisis". The association has also received lots of attention from the government and private sectors including those that are interested in renewable energy industry in this event.
