The best thing I can do is to use my smartphone captured a few shots.
The building with the golden dome is Sky Bar at Lebua, State Tower. If you watched The Hangover Part II, you would remember its open air bar visible on the roof. This is another landmark of Bangkok to view over the city and to see as sunset turns to dark.

This is one of my favorite off the beaten paths in Bangkok, Wat Ratchabophit, built during King Rama V and completed in 1869. It's peaceful and very important as The Supreme Patriarch resides here. The porcelains used as the main part of architecture are very exquisite. When in Bangkok, don't miss it.
