Aunty Oun always filled up the little space in my tummy since my highschool years until now. Her menu s are vary from warm 100% fresh milk to super soft steam bread with homemade pandan kaya. But my all time favourite is something extraordinary which doesn't exist in her menu, 'Valcano iced Ovaltine bread' which she will make right when she see my face without ordering. This is for me best of the best to cool down the hot night of Bangkok summer or even to enjoy the local outdoor breeze in Thai warm winter as well.

Her little cart locates just the opposite side of State Tower (Lebua hotel) on Silom road. She also opens 24 hours.

“I think it will be the most special memory in Bangkok. She spoke English very well, so there was no problem in communication. She also give detailed explanations about ingredients, food, and the origins of Thai food. I made 3 dishes, and it was much more delicious than what I've eaten at any Thai restaurant I've been to. You kept taking pictures of me cooking so I could focus on the class. It was an opportunity to learn a really delicious recipe from a friendly teacher, and I recommend it.

How much can a hotel produce per day?
This was a question we had since the first month we open our beloved hotel.

We notice the other hotels nearby and surprise to see so much garbage. So we came up with the idea to the amount of garbage. Since we open this hotel, the amount of garbage that we put out per day is just one 30"×40" garbage bag or less. But how do we do it?

Fresh garbage from breakfast or cooking class will be turned in to . This way we don't need to use any chemical for our plant. We can have lime, banana, star fruit, bilimbi and other vegetable all year round for our family and guest. And you will be surprise to see the enormous size of our fruit.

What do you normally have for breakfast?
For Thai heavy breakfast is a must. Easy takeaway for rush hour, our all time favourite is sticky rice with fried chicken.

Mr.Ruth (พี่รุธ) is ready to fill up your tummy with crispy and juicy fried chicken everyday next to Robinson Bangrak department store. Best thing you must try is his super crispy fried chicken skin which is voted to be the best in the area by The Myth-Sud Sathorn. He left his hometown to work in busy Bangkok so from time to time he will go back to his home during rice harvest season. Moreover from his chicken, is his unbeatable friendly smile.

is one of an ancient Thai cuisine which the recipe has been adapted from "Mon" nation. To cool down ourselves from the heat of summer, Khao Chae will be served with variety of side dishes.

The rice itself required many delicate process to make as well as the side dishes. Rice will be washed around 7 times until the water is clear. Then carefully boiled and steamed to get the right texture and served in cool flower infused water which is smoked with fragrance candle.

Nowadays though it's hard to find the person who can prepare it properly, Khao Chae can be found as special menu during summer in leading restaurants.
