Gofive Office Extension

States 40 minutes from Bangkok city center, this office has to be standalone
and self-sustained at its best. The functionality,operability, aesthetically have to be the priority to achieve best office
for staffs to stay all day long.

The open planned office allows directors to monitor the activities inside the office, in the other hand, this also reducing the stress of staff as it’s no fixed station, they can work anywhere they want.

The hierachy of function is the sale point of the project as guest can enter the office
without fustrating the staff, staff can easily be shifting thier environment in between work>casual meeing>rest.

In other words, honest materiality, straightforward thought, simple design move are all deliberately embedded into our studio spaces.

The site is located in a residential area in the suburb of Bangkok.
This project is a design to replace a 40-year-old house for a family expansion: 2 new coming families who will live with their seniors. The design intends to maximize the building within the very limited amount of land by going vertically up to 3 storeys. The first floor is for all sharing facilities and a bedroom for senior members, and the other 2 floors are meant to accommodate the new families. As discussing with the owner, the spiral staircases have to perform not only the main vertical circulation, but they also need to be the central sculptural piece that allows all members to absorb nice visual scenes from neighboring environments.
