➡️เพื่อสานต่อแคมเปญความยั่งยืนเรื่องน้ำทั่วประเทศไทยภายใต้โครงการรักษ์น้ำมิตซุยกุ โดยบริษัท ซันโทรี่ เบเวอเรจ แอนด์ ฟู๊ด (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด ตามแนวคิด “รักษ์น้ำ ใส่ใจสิ่งแวดล้อมเพื่อประเทศไทยที่ยั่งยืน” ครั้งนี้เราได้เดินทางไปยังพื้นที่ปลายน้ำ ณ แม่น้ำบางปะกง จังหวัดฉะเชิงเทราด้วยกัน

ในฐานะลุ่มน้ำที่สำคัญที่สุดในภาคตะวันออก ซึ่งเป็นแหล่งอาศัยของสิ่งมีชีวิตพื้นถิ่นหลากหลายชนิด รวมไปถึง “ปลากะพงขาว” ที่ได้รับผลกระทบจากการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ และปัญหาการจัดการน้ำของเมืองอุตสาหกรรมในปัจจุบัน 🏭🥹

💙🌳กิจกรรมหลักบนค่ายคือ การทำความเข้าใจต่อการฟื้นฟูวัฏจักรคาร์บอนในธรรมชาติ ผ่านการเรียนรู้คุณภาพของน้ำ และเห็นถึงผลกระทบของขยะพลาสติกที่มีต่อชุมชนท้องถิ่น โดยมีคุณครูหม่อม ผู้เชี่ยวชาญของเราร่วมรับฟังวิถีชีวิตของคนในท้องถิ่น และช่วยชี้แนะให้เห็นว่าพฤติกรรมของพวกเราส่งผลต่อระบบนิเวศอย่างไรบ้าง

นับเป็นอีกหนึ่งประสบการณ์สุดคุ้มค่าที่ได้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของค่ายนี้ และขอขอบคุณทุกคนเข้ามาเติมเต็มด้วยกัน แล้วพบกันในครั้งถัดไป 😍🌎

➡️In continuation of a nationwide water sustainability campaign created for by Suntory Beverage & Food (Thailand) Co., Ltd. global sustainability programme through the “Save Water and Save Nature for a Sustainable Thailand”, we traveled lower down the waterway to the Bangpakong River in Chachoengsao

Considered as the most important watershed in the Eastern region, the river is home to a variety of local species including the White Seabass, currently vulnerable to climate change and the lack of water protection within the industrial town 🏭🥹

💙🌳The activities on camp were centered on restoring a natural carbon cycle by understanding the water quality, seeing the impacts of single-use plastic deposit and impacts to the local community. Our specialist Kru Mom also listened to the way of the locals and helped to demonstrate how their behavior affects the ecosystem.

It was another rewarding experience to be a part of - thank you to everyone that participated. See you in Part 4 😍🌎

We headed to Rayong to learn about sea turtles and their importance to our ecosystem. 🐢🌊

This was our first ever ‘Sea Explorer: Sea Turtles, the Nomads of our Oceans’ camp where our students had the opportunity to study turtles in their natural habitat, understand conservation and hear from experienced acamedics the impacts on our environment. Our students also had the unique opportunity to visit a local nursery and complete health checks and prognosis as a way to better understand the amazing creatures 🏞️👓

It was a special experience, and we're so grateful to have had the chance to learn more about these incredible creatures and how we can help to protect them.

🌳🐘Tropical Rainforest: Animals of Khao Yai - another camp concluded with great experiences and success!

Our young explorers had a great time and looked to have enjoyed every moment. From animal observation sessions at sunrise to daytime classroom learnings and night safari activities, our students were able to really immerse and discover animals of Khao Yai up close.

Thank you for joining us, and stepping out of your comfort zones; it was amazing ♥️♥️♥️

ย้อนหวนถึงความทรงจำดี ๆ จากค่าย “นักสำรวจโลกสีคราม: วิถีแห่งฉลาม Sea Explorer: The Shark Trail” ครั้งแรกของเรา ที่อยากจะมาแบ่งปันไฮไลท์ของการสำรวจให้ทุกคน:

Throwback to our first Sea Explorer: The Shark Trail camp earlier this year. Even if it’s now ‘off’ season for marine camps, we wanted to document the occasion and share our highlights of the exploration:

✔️ A trip to Maya Bay in the Phi Phi island
✔️ Observing sharks first hand in their natural habitat
✔️ Informative lab and classroom learnings led by enthusiasts and experts
✔️ Mangrove snorkeling to see the underwater nursery up close

♥️ ♥️ ช่วงเวลา 5 วันสุดพิเศษที่น่าตื่นเต้นในห้องเรียนธรรมชาติกับกลุ่มนักเรียนที่กล้าหาญและเปี่ยมด้วยความตั้งใจ

เป็นครั้งที่สองของค่ายฤดูร้อนของ EEC ที่จัดขึ้นเฉพาะสำหรับนักเรียนเท่านั้น ณ จ.กาญจนบุรี เพื่อศึกษาในวิชาสัตว์เลื้อยคลานและสัตว์สะเทินน้ำสะเทินบก “Herpetology” ซึ่งเป็นสาขาของสัตววิทยา ผ่านกิจกรรมทั้งในห้องเรียน และธรรมชาติร่วมกับนักวิชาการและผู้เชี่ยวชาญท้องถิ่น 🐍⛺🔎

😍 สำหรับบางคน นี่เป็นครั้งแรกที่ได้ออกจากบ้าน (พวกเราสัมผัสได้ถึงความตื่นเต้น) และสำหรับอีกคนบางคน นี่เป็นการพบปะและแชร์ความสุขร่วมกันในระยะเวลาหนึ่งสัปดาห์ นอกจากนี้เรายังมีศิษย์เก่า EEC ที่คอยช่วยเหลือ เป็นแบบอย่าง และให้คำแนะนำกับนักเรียนจนเกิดเป็นแรงบันดาลใจอย่างแท้จริง

♥️ ♥️ It was an incredible 5 days in the wild with a courageous and amazing group of students

This was our second ‘students only’ EEC Summer Camp where 30 children from the ages of 7 to17 joined us in Kanchanaburi. The camp’s purpose was to study Herpetology which is a branch of zoology, through classroom and practical outdoor activities with academics, and local experts 🐍⛺🔎

😍 For some, it was their first time away from home (we could sense nerves), others a week to meet up and regroup. We also had EEC alumni on camp to help and guide the students - truly an inspiration.

Thank you to all the parents for trusting in us, we really hope everyone went home happy. Can’t wait to see you again soon.

เมื่อต้นเดือนที่ผ่านมา เราได้มีโอกาสแบ่งปันความสุขที่ได้รับความไว้วางใจให้สนับสนุนโครงการความยั่งยืนระดับโลกอย่าง โดย Suntory Beverage & Food (Thailand) Co., Ltd. อีกครั้ง ผ่าน “รักษ์น้ำ ใส่ใจสิ่งแวดล้อม เพื่อประเทศไทยที่ยั่งยืน” 🌏🌏🌏

หลังจากเปิดตัวที่จังหวัดเชียงรายไปแล้ว เราเดินทางต่อครั้งที่สองโดยล่องไปตามสายน้ำยังจังหวัดอุบลราชธานีในภาคอีสานของประเทศไทย ที่ที่เราสามารถมีส่วนร่วมกับนักเรียนและคุณครูในพื้นที่

ซึ่งกิจกรรมได้รับการออกแบบโดยมีเป้าหมายเสริมสร้างการอนุรักษ์น้ำเพื่อสนับสนุนชุมชนและเศรษฐกิจในท้องถิ่นผ่านการเรียนรู้ในห้องเรียน การลงมือทำจริงในห้องเรียนธรรมชาติ ผ่านคำแนะนำจากผู้เชี่ยวชาญ

คุณครูที่เข้าร่วม ได้เรียนรู้เทคนิคใหม่ๆ ที่สามารถช่วยสร้างแรงบันดาลใจให้นักเรียนในพื้นที่ ส่งเสริมและพัฒนาจิตสำนึกอย่างยั่งยืน

Earlier last month we shared our delight in being trusted to once again support by Suntory Beverage & Food (Thailand) Co., Ltd. global sustainability programme through the “Save Water and Save Nature for a Sustainable Thailand” initiative 🌏🌏🌏

Following the launch in Chiangrai, the second phase of the journey took us down the waterstream to Ubon Ratchathani in Thailand's Isan region where we were able to engage with local students and teachers.

Activities were designed with the goal of reinforcing water conservation needs to support the community and local economy through classroom learnings, practical outdoor observation and reflection sessions with guidance from experts. Teachers on camp were even able to learn new techniques to help inspire their students at home to develop sustainable consciousness.

💙 We’re immensely proud and thankful of everyone who was involved - we can't wait to see you next time in Chachoengsao 💙

The ‘Fossil Studies: A Journey Through Time’ is truly a favorite for our students. A unique family experience, the camp is designed to uncover life in the Prehistoric 🦖🦕🦖🦕

🔍 Held in one of Thailand’s largest private prehistoric items and fossils collection, students get up close to the largest mammoth fossil found on earth including lifesize t-rex and triceratops. They also experienced creating to life size fossil replicas with guidance from subject academics 🥼👪💚

⭐ Fun Fact: Elephants are vital to our ecosystem. Considered nature's gardeners, they are seed transporters, a vital source of food, dig watering holes and help modify the environment for other plants and species to live in.

Academics also consider an elephant’s presence is a key indicator for a thriving ecosystem 🐘🐘🐘

Last month, we went to Kanchanaburi to experience elephant husbandry up close. We studied behaviors, learnt about the roles of wild elephants to their environment and the needs for conservation. Check out the pictures 😍

🌟 วันศุกร์ปลุกความรู้: แนวปะการังได้รับฉายาว่า "ป่าดงดิบแห่งท้องทะเล" เพราะเหล่าสิ่งมีชีวิตใต้น้ำกว่า 25% พึ่งพาพื้นที่นี้เพื่อเป็นอาหารและที่พักพิง

กลุ่มผู้นำการเปลี่ยนแปลง ในอนาคตของเราออกเดินทางไปที่จังหวัดตรัง เพื่อเรียนรู้และค้นพบความสำคัญของแนวปะการังต่อระบบนิเวศของเราโดยตรง พร้อมใช้เวลาร่วมกันบนชายหาดเพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้ ดำน้ำตื้น และแบ่งปันประสบการณ์ผ่านกิจกรรมกลุ่มในช่วงเย็น ร่วมชมภาพพร้อม ๆ กันได้เลย 📷😍

🌟 Friday Fun Fact: Coral Reefs are also called the "rainforest of the sea" because over 25% of the underwater population depend on them for food and shelter.

Our group of future went to Trang in the South of Thailand to learn and discover the importance of coral and reefs to our ecosystem first hand. We spent time on the beach investigating the subject, snorkeling the reefs and shared findings through evening group work activities. Check out the pictures 📷😍

นับเป็นครั้งที่ 6 สำหรับการขับเคลื่อนเชิงบวกของโครงการ “Save the Ocean'' และจุดประกายให้ SEIKO ต่อยอดแคมเปญสร้างการรับรู้ถึงความสำคัญต่อการดูแลผืนป่าของประเทศไทยด้วยเช่นกัน 🌳🌏

โดยกิจกรรมสำคัญในครั้งนี้ ได้แก่ การวิเคราะห์สถานการณ์ใต้ทะเลผ่านการดำน้ำตื้น และการแลกเปลี่ยนกับชาวบ้านในท้องถิ่น เพื่อทำความเข้าใจต่อการพึ่งพาพืชพื้นเมือง โดยมีสื่อมวลชนที่เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมเป็นกระบอกเสียงสร้างการรับรู้ต่อไป

Now in its 6th cycle, the positive impacts of “Save the Ocean'' inspired SEIKO to expand the campaign to raising awareness on saving Thailand's forests as well 🌳🌏

Highlights of the 3-day programme included an underwater situation analysis through snorkeling and, meeting with locals to understand the dependencies on indigenous plants with media in attendance to help spread the word.

We had an amazing time working with Amnuay Silpa School Bangkok (ANS) to host the Sea Explorer: Nature Sustainability marine camp as part of the school’s 10 day Summer Camp, Secondary in Nature.

It was lot’s of fun teaching marine conservation, listening to the student’s presentations and seeing the keen interests on the subject. Thank you 🌟🤿🌏
