Due to the fact that all passengers need to be funneled through the body temperature scanning areas now, it will not be possible to bring golf carts (airport buggies) to or from the gates over the next few days.

Just a reminder that the airports will be busier than usual over the next few days combined with the fact that there are less staff on duty, especially tomorrow.. We recommend that everyone take an hour extra for departures.

Pls make sure to allow plenty of time when heading to Suvaranbhumi airport. Every vehicle is being checked at the moment, causing traffic to be backed up for Km's.

For holders of a non-immigrant visa to Thailand: note that the re-entry counter is no longer located in the regular immigration area. It's now a dedicated office on the departures floor in the main terminal. Pls allow about 30 minutes for processing on regular days.

Good news! It looks like the authorities already came to their senses and baggage scanning is back to the way it was before, so no need to arrive up to 4 hours early.

Long delays at Don Mueang airport due to additional baggage checks make it necessary for passengers to arrive at the airport at least 3,5 hours prior to flight departure for international flights and 2,5 hours for domestic flights!!
