Reena has now completed her Nursing Training and she has joined the staff at the hospital from where she graduated last week.
We are proud to announce that she received the Florence Nightingale award twice during her training.

Reena is about to complete her first year of General Nursing. The capping ceremony took place a couple of months ago and it is with a sense of pride that we post this picture of her. She has also excelled in her first term examination. Nothing compares to the joy of watching a young person strive towards her goal.

We are happy to announce that we now have another young person join our group. Reena has been introduced to the GCS foundation this year. She comes from a family of 5 girls, of which she is the eldest. Her father has been without a job for several years as he has struggled heavily with alcoholism. Her mother works as a maid, she washes dishes and cleans houses for a living. She is the sole bread winner in the family. Two of Reena’s siblings are in a boarding school and have their education supported by the St. Paul’S Church in Mussoorie.
Reena is currently at home with her two other siblings and takes care of the house along with their mother. She recently completed grade 12 and did extremely well by clearing it with a 1st division rank. She is interested in nursing and would like to pursue that this year. The GCS foundation is happy to be a part of her journey and support her in this training.

Vijendar continues to excel at the hotel he is placed in Dubai. He completed his term in March 2018 and is currently going for further training. With his qualifications and extended training Vijendar intends to join another company and make his mark there. The GCS foundation will continue to support his training as he moves ahead. We are happy and excited with the progress he has made.
