Rectification
Tell me
Utter the secrets of changing the past
How to wipe out memories engraved
Like words and time-line on a tombstone
How to rectify mistakes made
And change the perspective view they have
Tell me
Speak words of wisdom in my ears
To silence my fears that come with the voices
In my head,
Shunning me
Laughing at me
Since I chose to mess up
And kill the one thing that brought me life
Light in my soul
But it vanished the day
I shattered that soul
Tell me
Maybe you can't hear me
The whimper locked inside
Failing to escape the clutches of darkness
For I am alone with no direction
Since 2 set of eyes became one in an instant
Like smoke through the wind
I lost my lifeline
Tell me
I'm begging you
How do I heal , fix the heart I broke
Shattered into millions of pieces
Because of my selfishness
Which I still can't find the reason why
If you still can't
Kindly please tell the one that held me down
"I am sorry"
Coming back may not be an option
But can I dress the wound I inflicted
So that thee maybe able to find peace
And not see red
When love comes to dwell again.
