JUST IN: The Chairman of Sudan’s Sovereign Council, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, arrived in Juba Wednesday morning for bilateral discussions with President Salva Kiir.

The two leaders are expected to discuss border security, economic cooperation, oil resumption, and the final status of Abyei.

He was received at JIA by President Salva Kiir. Al-Burhan is accompanied by various top Sudanese officials, including his Ministers of Foreign Affairs, National Security, Energy, and Mining, among others.
