HBM BOSS EXPRESSES BITTERNESS ON SS ARTISTS UNION OVER ITS AFFAIRS

Paul Karallaz Jr., the CEO of Head Boyz Management (HBM), reacted vehemently to the activities of the South Sudan Artist Union.

He made the plea on his social media platform the day after a concert for Viper Koko, a singer under his management.

Manager Paul is enraged by the exorbitant fees that musicians and event organizers must pay in order to be allowed for any musical event in the country.

"I'm too surprised that the South Sudan Artist Union is asking for 100,000ssp from national artists in the name of an “Approval Letter” for an event in the country."

He claimed that the same union is not concerned about matters harming the artists' brotherhood, not even accounting for the money they make from the events.

"I felt sorry because these are the same group who don’t know how an artist records (Audio & Video), how he/she managed to pay for the venues, these are the same group who can’t protect your rights as an artist, to make it worst there’s no any clear indications where the 100k they picked from artists goes."

"I believe an operating Venue has an Operation License from the government and they’re paying taxes as well, I believe the Venue has an approval letter from the security department (National or State level)."

Manager Paul also asked the union to reorganize its policies about this specific subject in order to improve the industry's shape.

"Please Union I’m not opposing you but there’s still time for us to adjust to do better things in good ways. Let’s start by regrouping and adjusting our goals."

"By the way, being under Union isn't by force."
