BASIC COMPUTER TRAINING.

Today 9/9/2024, we have started training our primary Eight and secondary students on basic computer skills as part of our holidays program.

However, we are facing a challenge as we only have two working computers available for the students to use. This has resulted in the children struggling to take turns and utilize the limited resources effectively. Each child is eager to learn and practice their computer skills, but the lack of sufficient computers is hindering their progress.

I kindly request your prayers and support as we seek to acquire additional computers for the Kikiji National Orphanage Center- South Sudan . Having more computers will not only enhance the learning experience for the children but also ensure that each student has the opportunity to develop their computer skills effectively.

Your prayers and assistance in any form will be greatly appreciated as we strive to provide the best possible educational opportunities for the children. Thank you for your continued support and care for our children.

Meaningful Visit of Mr. Emmanuel Bida Thomas, the program Manager of Excellence Foundation to Kikiji National Orphanage Center- South Sudan

During this meeting several key areas of collaboration were discussed.

Overall, the visit was a success, laying the groundwork for future initiatives that will benefit the children, learners, parents, and teachers, ultimately contributing to the overall development of the community.

😭 😘 TOUCHING STORY 🙏 🙏

Today, we were visited in our compound of Kikiji National Orphanage Centre by an aged woman named Jaina, Jaina came to our office this morning and the compound manager welcomed her and gave her a seat then she asked, manager that she wanted to see Mr. Dominic! then, I was called, When I met with Jaina. I saw her smiling 😁 and I also picked chair and sat near her, Jaina slowly opened her bag 🛍️ and picked white wrapped paper and said my son Dominic! Please, I have not come for bad, I just brought to you what I have to support the orphans cry 😢. When I opened the paper it was 1500 SSP ($0.3 cent). She said, I know it might be small, take it and help with the Orphans. This is what I have. Help them. Not only that, Jaina went ahead and prayed for me and to all the children. While she was praying, tears 😭 dropped from my eyes 👀.

And above all, I got touched. Someone like Jaina. Picking maybe 🤔 the only coins she had Generously giving it to children. It is her first time coming to our compound. She said, the situation of the country is tough she always feels for these children, she doesn't know whether they're eating or washing their clothes with soap. " Accept this Dominic, I don't have much, This little one help with the children😢😭".

If we are to have five Jaina's, ten or 50 or more Jaina's in our communities and In our country. With the heart of sharing with the needy. We will see no child on the street. We will see no child going empty stomach to bed. We will see no child struggling without going to school.

Can we be like Jaina? To say, whatever you have. No matter how little we think it is without shame, SHARE WITH THE NEEDY around you today. Every note, every coin, every cent, or any kind support You have today makes a very big impact in the life of an orphan child.

Lord Jesus I want to thank you for this second term and everyday for your protection upon our lives 🙏 and the lives of these children that you entrusted upto our care. As you said in book of proverbs 22:6, We should train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old,he will not depart from it.

We are doing it as it's written father, we are asking you 🙏 to help them as their write their exams this week, may you refresh their minds such that they can able to write what they were taught and above all take sickness out from them father,
None of them should fall sick during their exams in Jesus name

Today Date: 16/8/2024, We Successfully Concluded our Career Guidance and Counseling Session at St. Joseph Secondary School.

We are grateful to God Almighty to announce that Kikiji National Orphanage Center- South Sudan has successfully concluded the first phase of our career guidance and counseling session under our NO COST PROJECT at St. Joseph Secondary School this afternoon. This marks the Ninth secondary school we have reached this year, with more to come.

We thank 🙏 all stakeholders, the Department of Education in Yei River County, Rescue Medical Center - R.M.C, friends who joined us, and the administrations of all the nine secondary schools (Nile High, Immanuel Model, Midland, Yei Day, ECASS, Kinji, EPC Nehemiah, Excel, and St. Joseph Secondary School) for their trust and support. Honestly friends and prayer 🙏 partners! The insights gained from this phase have inspired us to do even more in the next phase. Today 13/08/2024 our career guidance team were in EPC Nehemiah Academy Secondary school talking to 452 ( 224 girls and 228 boys) students .

The objectives of this program is;
To help students to identify and understand why they should take studies seriously.
To prepare them in academic life and strengthening their resilience to future shocks.
To sharp their understanding when choosing a specific career or profession.
To help them develop positive attitude towards learning and works among the young people

The young people are our tomorrow. Putting them first is putting our nation's future first.

We were very honored to be given a chance to help mould our young ones. 💔 SAY NO TO ORPHAN'S MISTREATMENT 😢!

The below 👇is the picture of the front tables and chairs of Kikiji national orphanage's new office site.
This picture was drawn by one of the orphan girl who lost both of her parents and currently in senior one sponsored by the orphanage, we asked to draw this picture yesterday after speaking to her about both life at her home and school, She couldn't stop crying when she narrated her story especially the part where her caretaker the aunt is mistreating her and so I asked her to take a few minutes break from our chatting to do something she loves and she said she could draw, now look at what she drew! If this girl can do such an amazing drawing with all the pain, lack of parental love and care what could she do with a little help, love and care. Am afraid that this girl's endless mistreatment from the aunt might unfortunately cause her to one day, I for sure don't know what excuses we all will make after that tragedy!
For a fact Many children such as her are out there going through the same or even worse life and believe me these children are so cute and talented and all they need is a person to love them too, and pull them away from the unfriendly environment to one of love and compassion. PLEASE 🙏 stand up today and say NO to Orphans mistreatment.

Their potential is limitless, and together, we can help them achieve their dreams. Let's invest in their potential and ensure they have the skills they need for success.

Today, we conducted our routine career guidance and counseling activity at Yei Day Secondary School that left a lasting impact on more than 500 students in attendance. Many of the students after expressed that it was their first time attending such a life-changing program, emphasizing the significance of the event. Yei Day Secondary School marks the sixth school we have reached this year, as part of our goal to reach all secondary schools in Yei River County.

The testimonies from the students reaffirm our belief that South Sudan is in need of educated and skilled individuals and through initiatives like these, we aim to empower our youth and instill in them the value of education. Together, we can pave the way for a brighter future for our children and the nation as a whole.

Today our career guidance and counseling team successful conducted career guidance and counseling session with more than 500 students of ECASS and Kinji secondary school.

This career activity aimed to give opportunity to the students to think beyond classroom routine and create a vision. It was a day portraying various professions they aspire to , by encouraging them to explore different career paths, and to foster an understanding of the diversity of occupations available to them—respecting all professions and avoiding stereotypes. By following this approach, students had the opportunity to explore a wide range of professions, gained insights into different career paths, and developed a greater understanding of their own interests and aspirations.

The KNOC education team shared her insights into various career options, educational pathways, and assisted them in exploring the plethora of career options available. Students received valuable insights that provided a roadmap for self-improvement and future planning. Thanks to Rescue Medical Center - R.M.C for joining us.

Today 12/July/2024, we addressed over 800 students in Immanuel Model Secondary School providing them with in-depth knowledge about various academic subjects and career paths and counseling under our NO COST PROJECT. The program aimed to voluntarily equip our students and pupils in Yei River County, South Sudan with the clarity and confidence needed to make informed decisions about their educational journeys towards the development of this nation south Sudan. Special thanks to the facilitators of the session; Education County Director, Madam Juan Margret, the Director for social development Yei River County Mr. Wani James, Rescue Medical Center, Mr. Emmanuel Anur and the media personal for dedicating there time to share their experience with the students at Emmanuel Model Secondary School.
